17 Philosophy "In your world, you are taught to believe that your body has a mind and spirit, when indeed, it is your spirit that has a mind and body. Your spirit is the architect, your mind is the builder, and your body is the material embodiment. The architect - your spirit - is only a thought away. Listen to its ancient voice. Perceive with its ancient eyes. Honor these gateways of intelligence as you would your Creator. They are your reality. They are the defining elements of your existence. It is time they yield the information that is the only true source of your liberation. You have only to command it, for we assure you, the teacher you have always sought is awake and waiting."

Chromosome 17 Function | Chromosome 17 | |
Analysis |
Problems in chromosome 17 with the deletion of a certain gene sequence has lead to a curious finding. The chamber 17 painting, bears a remarkable similarity to Sjogren-Larsson Syndrome as evidence of the images to the right. The skin changes in Sjogren-Larsson syndrome are similar to those of congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma (242100), although considerable variations in severity have been described (Goldsmith et al., 1971). Link and Roldan (1958) reported cases. Blumel et al. (1958) referred to the neurologic disorder as spastic quadriplegia. Sjogren (1956) and Sjogren and Larsson (1957) suggested that all of their 28 cases were derived from the same mutation, which occurred about 600 years ago, and that about 1.3% of the population of northern Sweden is heterozygous for the gene. About half the cases have pigmentary degeneration of the retina. Gilbert et al. (1968) discussed lesions of the ocular fundus. Retinal glistening white dots are characteristic. Based on linkage analysis and allelic association, Pigg et al. (1994) mapped the SLS gene to chromosome 17. Chamber 4 philosophy states that the poem in this chamber stirs emotions. "Afterwards" strikes an emotional chord of subtle discord.
It is discordance that stirs the emotional responses, making them accessible to the higher energies of the human instrument. |
