Weyrling Schedule

Last Hope Weyr employes a Jr./Sr. Weyrling program.
Jr. Weyrlinghood lasts 6 IC months, Sr. Weyrlinghood lasts the same.

Jr. Weyrlings are those that have just Impressed. They learn the basics of being a rider. Their lives are full, they have very few moments to themselves. If they are not taking care of their dragonets they are exercising to increase their physical limits. This usually takes a full Turn, and all dragonets must be able to fly to advance.

Sr. Weyrlings have a bit more freetime.  When Thread does start falling.  They fly in their own wing below that of the Queen's wing. They do not flame, only reload riders with firestone. It is also used as flying practice. If any of the dragonets start to get tired, all weyrlings report back to the bowl to help the healer staff deal with the lesser injuries. Those with healer backgrounds will be under direct command of Weyrhealer. Sr. Weyrlings also have classes but have a lot more freedom.

On sex and drinking for Senior Weyrlings: The general rules are as follows. Sex is allowed after a dragons first flight/chase as long as the rider is responsible, and has permission from the Weyrling Master. On alcohol, this will be allowed after first mating flight OR in your 15th month of Weyrlinghood, *WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.* This also requires permission from the Weyrling Master, assumptions should not be made. The Weyrling Master is the final authority and final say on everything a Weyrling may or may not do.

Jr. Weyrling Daily Schedule

5-7am - Feed/Bathe dragonets, Morning Runs
7-8am - Breakfast
8-10am- Classes
10-11am - Exercise (Firestone sack tossing)
11-12pm - More Exercise (Push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks ect.)
12-1pm- Lunch/Feed dragonets
1-3pm - Classes
3-5pm - Exercise (Evening swim)
5-7pm - Dinner/free time/Feed dragonets
7-10pm- Return to Weyrling barracks - study/free time *in* the barracks
10pm - Lights Out/Feed dragonets if needed.

Sr. Weyrling Daily Schedule

Everyday Three Weyrlings are choosen to take a 24 hr. Shift to operate the Dragon Trolley. These three are exempt from all other duties.

5-8am - Feed/Bathe dragonets, Morning Runs
9-10am - Breakfast
10-11am- Drills
12-1pm - Freetime/Extra Goldrider Lessons/ Leadership Training
12-1pm- Lunch
1-5pm - Drills
5-7pm - Dinner/free time
7-10pm- Return to Weyrling barracks - study/free time *in* the barracks
10pm - Lights Out
