Rules

It has come to my attention that I don't particularly like certain types of clubs and I do not wish to associate with said clubs. If you wish to affiliate with us your club must fall into the following criteria.

The reason I am picky about the clubs that I affiliate with is because I want to unite the good clubs in Pern Fandom, and make the internet a better place for dragon writers!

1) You must allow women on fighting dragons. I do not care if it goes against canon, it rubs me the wrong way. So I will not affiliate with clubs that only allow women to ride gold.

2) Weyrs I've been before that I deem have Snarky Staff will not be allowed to join. Snarky Staff is becoming an epidemic in Pern fandom. I will not associate with Snarky Staff. If you want to hear my speal about Snarky Staff, contact me.

3) If your club's goldriders belong only to staff members, beware. I know there are sometimes good reasons. Like at our own club, Both I and Moose from the staff have golds at Last Hope Weyr. But Moose had to earn hers via our Marks system, and she had earned the gold before she was staff. My gold doesn't clutch at all at this point, and is retired. I might ask you to explain to me why all goldriders are in the hands of staff.  I am picky on this matter because the first club I ever joined, both staff members had two golds each.  That is a gross misuse of authority!

4) Your button must be 88 x 31, so it conforms to the other buttons.  I will make exceptions if the button is actually a banner and can fit it into my layout nicely!
