History and Location
- The Richmond Conservation Club was started in Centerville, Indiana in 1909, and then in the middle 1940's. Springwood Park was purchased and owned by the club until late 1971. The park was then sold to the City of Richmond and a 77 acre farm was purchased on Williams Road. Where it remains today.
- Directions: From Richmond, head north on US Highway 27 towards Northeastern High School until you see the flashing yellow lights. Williams Road is the first road on your left before you get to the flashing yellow lights. Once on Williams Road, the entrance will be on the left. The Richmond Conservation Club sign is posted and easily visible.
