The Obituary of William J. Wray, Company F, 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He died on June 1st 1919 at the home of his brother Albert Wray. This obituary was from the June 4th 1919, Philadelphia Inquirer. He was buried in American Mechanics Cemetery in Philadelphia which was removed in 1951 as part of The "Diamond Project". His remains were removed on September 11, 1951 and transfered to Philadelphia Memorial Park and reburied on September 13th, 1951. He is buried at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazier,PA. He was a Member of The Free and Accepted Masons Lodge # 9 in Philadelphia. He was a Medal of Honor Reciepient of Fort Stevens, in Washington,D.C. and wounded at The Battle of 1st Fredericksburg on December 12th 1862. Photos of William J. The Obituary of William Schutretter, Company A 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He died on December 28th 1922 in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. This obituary was from the Saturday December 22nd 1922, Gettysburg Compiler. He is buried at The Gettysburg National Cemetery. You can view his Gravesite on The Virtual Cemetery.
