Trying to stay organized while going to craft shows can be difficult. You know you always leave home without something! Well, there is a way to remedy this, it will take a little time but in the long run it helps. As I said earlier in a post, I use a wheeled 4 drawer cart at shows. One of these carts, or anything on this order will make life much easier at shows. The first thing that should go into your "show cart" is a list. Whether you make one on the computer or hand write it, make 2 copies. This is your "SHOW LIST", so you don't forget your business cards, or bags, or anything else. Almost everything on this list will go into your SHOW CART. THE LIST
I know you ask about the toilet paper. Do a few shows with port-potties and you'll bring a roll of toilet paper!! Now after you have gathered all of this and put it in your cart, put in your list. This way when you run out of something you can check it off (in pencil) and refill when you get home. The other copy of the list should go where you work or near the computer as a reminder. I carry a money box to shows with a removable money drawer, in there is my vitamins, allergy medicines. This drawer slips very nicely into the top drawer of the cart. Once you start a system like this, you will find that you have everything you need, for anything that pops up at the shows! And that will make you more relaxed at shows, which will allow you to have fun and sell, sell, sell!! Hope this helps, |
