Decoration

Back to Topic Index

Decorating your booth can be as simple or as complex as you want.  But most important, decorate with what you like, and how you want to present your product.  DO NOT try to decorate your booth like someone else's, use what you like, the colors you like, maybe herb plants in pots that you use in your products.  If you try to decorate like someone else, your booth will lack personality and that can be a sales killer.

The easiest things to use are plants, I prefer real some people use dried or plastic.  A bunch of flowers in a vase can add life and warmth.  Artificial ivy vines can be draped up inside the canopy, so it hangs down.  Close-up photos of your soaps, blown up and hung up on the sides of the display, can add color and interest.  I have seen people use hay stacks, flowers, plants, wheel barrows, ladders, buckets.

The main thing when decorating your booth is to use what you like.  A warm, interesting and inviting booth will achieve more sales then a booth with product thrown on the table.  And promoters remember you and shows get easier to get into!!
