Warren Central coach William Unseld started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. DAndre Boyd, 6-2 Sr. Tayshaun Bibb, 6-4 Sr. Kris Horn, 5-9 Sr. Jamale Barber, and 5-9 Jr. Kobe Brents.  Madisonville-North Hopkins coach Brent Gibson countered with 6-7 Jr. Kenny White, 6-1 Sr. JD Gilbert, 6-9 Jr. Ksuan Casey, 5-10 Jr. Keshawn Stone, and 6-0 Sr. Cade Cunningham. 

 

Warren Central trailed by 11 points in the third quarter but rallied to earn a 66-62 victory over Madisonville-North Hopkins.  The score was tied 10 times and there were 15 lead changes in the game.  Warren Central shot 43.1% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Dragons connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Madisonville-North Hopkins turnovers.  Madisonville-North Hopkins shot 51.1% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Maroons connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Warren Central turnovers. 

 

Dre Boyd led Warren Central with 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Kobe Brents added 10 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Tegra Muleka recorded nine points and three assists.  Tayshaun Bibb chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Aiyontre Pillow added seven points including four key free throws down the stretch.

 

Kenny White led Madisonville-North Hopkins with 27 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Ksuan Casey added 16 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots,
