Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup:  6-1 Jr. Marques Warrick, 6-0 Jr. Marquis Mackey, 6-4 Sr. Harris Hawkins, 5-10 Sr. Scott Hersey, and 6-1 Sr. Keaston Brown.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-4 So. Kole Brown, 6-1 So. Braeden Ray, 6-8 Sr. Isaiah Cozart, 5-10 Sr. Deion Cox, and 5-10 Sr. Quaez. Charlton.

 

Madison Central raced out to a 12-2 first quarter lead but Henry Clay rallied to defeat Madison Central 78-73 in overtime.  The score was tied six times and there were 11 lead changes in the game.  Henry Clay held a commanding 26-10 advantage in second chance points.  Henry Clay shot 40.9% from the field including eight of 27 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 10 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 56.9% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored eight points off five Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Marques Warrick led Henry Clay with 20 points including four three point baskets and eight rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Mayan White added 18 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Harris Hawkins recorded 17 points and 13 rebounds.  Keaston Brown chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  5-9 Sr. Ramond Jackson added nine points on nine of 11 free throws, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals.

 

Isaiah Cozart led Madison Central with 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and five blocked shots.  Quaez. Charlton added 25 points including two three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Braeden Ray chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets and four rebounds.
