Tennessee Tech coach Kim Rosamond started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Abby Buckner, 5-7 Sr. Kentoria Alexander, 6-2 Sr. Lacy Cantrell, 5-7 So. Jordan Brock, and 5-7 Jr. Akia Harris.  Eastern Kentucky University Chrissy Roberts countered with 5-11 So. Bria Bass, 5-8 Jr. Shay Solomon, 6-0 Jr. Catie Kaifes, 5-6 So. Teri Goodlett, and 5-11 So. Valerie Clark.

 

Eastern Kentucky University led 44-40 at halftime but Tennessee Tech rallied for an 81-68 victory.  Tennessee Tech shot 43.9% from the field including two of 18 from the three point line.  The Golden Eagles connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 41.3% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off seven Tennessee Tech turnovers.

 

Jordan Brock led Tennessee Tech with 14 points including eight of nine free throws.  Akia Harris added 14 points and four assists.  6-3 So. Mackenzie Coleman recorded 13 points, five rebounds, and one blocked shot.  Kentoria Alexander chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Lacy Cantrell added 10 points and Abby Buckner pulled down nine rebounds.  6-2 Jr. Anacia Wilkinson recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

 

Bria Bass led Eastern Kentucky with 18 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Shay Solomon added 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  5-11 Sr. Paige Murphy recorded 11 points.
