Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Javen Hardin, 5-10 Sr. Evan Dreux, 6-9 Jr. Ray Surratt, 5-5 So. Daniel Kinley, and 5-8 Sr. Caleb True.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-2 Sr. Will Hacker, 6-1 Sr. Matthew Johnson, 6-7 Sr. Kyle Rode, 5-10 Sr. Baylor Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Pearce Dalton.

 

Lexington Christian Academy led 39-28 at the end of three quarters and withstood a final quarter rally by Lafayette to earn a 50-47 victory over the Generals.  LCA shot 57.6% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 41.7% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 LCA turnovers.

 

Kyle Rode led Lexington Christian Academy with 21 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.  Matthew Johnson added 10 points including two three point baskets, and four rebounds.  Will Hacker recorded eight points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.

 

Ray Surratt led Lafayette with 17 points, four rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Javen Hardin added 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists.
