Brescia coach Mike Gray started the following lineup: 5-9 Fr. Loreal Cheaney, 5-8 So. Cassidy Moss, 5-11 So. Hailey Kendall, 5-6 Sr. Aaliyah Rodgers, and 5-7 Sr. Catherine Dunn.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 5-11 Sr. Abby Wright, 5-11 So. Bria Bass, 6-2 Sr. Madison Pierce, 5-8 Jr. Shay Solomon, and 5-10 Fr. Hailey McCoy.

Eastern Kentucky University raced out to a 26-6 first quarter lead on their way to a 70-41 victory over Brescia.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 42.65 from the field including 10 of 27 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Brescia turnovers.  Brescia shot 22.8% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored three points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Abby Wright led Eastern Kentucky University with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Shay Solomon added 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  6-0 Jr. Catie Kaifes recorded 15 points on five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Bria Bass chipped in with six points, five rebounds, and seven assists.

Loreal Cheaney led Brescia with seven points.  Catherine Dunn added six points and four rebounds.  Cassidy Moss pulled down six rebounds.
