John Hardin coach Jared McCurry started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Mickey Pearson, 6-4 Sr. Malik Wright, 6-4 So. Alex Matthews, 6-0 Jr. Aaron Scott, and 6-0 Jr. Jachal Walker.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-2 Sr. Cooper Robb, 6-1 Jr. Bryce Long, 6-7 Jr. Michael Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Diablo Stewart, and 6-0 Jr. Lorenzo Williams.

 

Scott County trailed 24-16 after the first quarter but roared back to defeat John Hardin by a score of 84-59.  Scott County shot 50.8% from the field including 13 of 26 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 18 John Hardin turnovers.  John Hardin shot 41% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 20 of 32 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

 

Cooper Robb led Scott County with 29 points including seven three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Michael Moreno added 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  5-11 Jr. Glenn Covington recorded nine points on three three point baskets, five rebounds, and five assists.  Bryce Long and Diablo Stewart also scored nine points each.

 

Mickey Pearson led John Hardin with 20 points including four three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists.  Aaron Scott added 11 points including two three point baskets.  Alex Matthews recorded nine points and five rebounds.
