Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Harris Hawkins, 6-1 Sr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Sr. Andreus Green, 5-10 So. Marquez Warrick, and 6-0 Jr. Keaston Brown.  Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson countered with 6-2 Sr. Terrance Clayton-Murphy, 6-2 Jr. Jalen Burbage, 6-5 Sr. Alex Pickett, 5-11 Fr. Myles Morones, and 6-3 Sr. Eric Boone.

 

Terrance Clayton-Murphy hit a free throw in the closing seconds to give Bryan Station a 58-57 come-from-behind victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay led 23-10 early in the second quarter and 37-26 at halftime but Bryan Station outscored the Blue Devils 32-20 after the intermission to earn the victory.  Bryan Station shot 38.3% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 44.2% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored nine points off seven Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Terrance Clayton-Murphy led Bryan Station with 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Eric Boone added 11 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, and five steals.  Jalen Burbage recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.  Myles Morones also scored 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. Keaton Simpson chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

 

Jalen Williams led Henry Clay with 16 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Harris Hawkins added nine points and nine rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson also scored nine points.  Keaston Brown recorded seven points including seven of nine free throws, seven rebounds, and four assists.
