Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Justin Mitchell, 5-10 Jr. Jalen Williams, 6-4 Jr. Andreus Green, 5-9 Sr. Brendon Ford, and 6-0 So. Keaston Brown.  Franklin County coach Tony Wise countered with 6-1 Jr. Walker Lee, 6-1 So. Kyle Stivers, 6-5 Sr. Anthony Valentine, 5-8 So. Diablo Stewart, and 5-10 Sr. Ryan Staples.

 

Henry Clay defeated Franklin County by a score of 88-57.  Henry Clay shot 48.4% from the field including 11 of 26 from the three point line.  Henry Clay attempted 18 more shots (64-46) from the field than Franklin County.  The Blue Devils connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 16 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 39.1% from the field including seven of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored three points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Justin Mitchell led a balanced Henry Clay scoring attack with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Andreus Green added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Keaston Brown also scored 12 points on four three point baskets, three rebounds, and three blocked shots.  5-11 So. Montaveon Bean recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.

 

Anthony Valentine led Franklin County with 15 points.  6-1 So. Ike Boling added nine points including six of 10 free throws.  Diablo Stewart recorded eight points, four rebounds, and six assists.  Walker Lee chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.
