Scott County Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-7 So. Michael Moreno, 6-2 Jr. Cooper Robb, 6-5 Sr. Cooper Watts, 6-1 So. Glenn Covington, and 6-1 So. Bryce Long. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-2 Jr. Dustin Geralds, 6-1 Sr. Michael Roberts, 6-7 So. Isaiah Cozart, 5-8 Sr. KJ Long, and 6-0 Jr. Kenyon McKee.
Madison Central was not able to generate much offense tonight and Scott County defeated the Indians by a score of 65-39. Scott County shot 39.1% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. They attempted 19 more shots (64-45) from the field than Madison Central. The Cardinals connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 25 Madison Central turnovers. Madison central shot 28.9% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Scott County turnovers.
Cooper Robb led Scott County with 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Michael Moreno added 14 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and six blocked shots. Bryce Long recorded 12 points and four steals. Cooper Watts chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds. 5-8 So. Cam Fluker also scored 10 points and recorded three steals.
Dustin Geralds led Madison Central with 18 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. Isaiah Cozart added seven points, eight rebounds, and six blocked shots.
