Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle, 5-9 Sr. Kadee Hudson, 6-0 Sr. Lauren Boehm, 5-6 Fr. Morgan DeFoor, and 5-9 So. Maaliya Owens. Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-9 Sr. Sadie Zeisloft, 5-9 Sr. Josie Woods, 6-2 Jr. Danielle Feldkamp, 5-8 So. Regan Berger, and 5-9 So. Raquael Reese.
Mercy Academy defeated Scott County by a score of 68-54. Mercy Academy shot 39.4% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on only 10 of 29 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 12 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 27.1% from the field including one of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 21 of 34 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Mercy Academy turnovers.
Josie Woods led Mercy Academy with 18 points and five rebounds. Sadie Zeisloft added 17 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three steals. Regan Berger recorded 15 points and six assists. Raquael Reese chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds. Danielle Feldkamp added six points and 10 rebounds.
Morgan DeFoor led Scott County with 13 points and three steals. Peyton Riddle added 12 points including seven of seven free throws and seven rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Zakiyah Holt chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds. Maaliya Owens recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
