Thomas More coach Drew Cooper started the following lineup: 6-3 Fr. Brandon Horne, 6-0 Jr. Sawyer Pauly, 6-6 Jr. Simon Clifford, 5-10 So. Jacob Hall, and 5-10 So. Daniel Williams.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale countered with 6-7 Sr. Jarelle Reischel, 6-5 Jr. Javontae Hawkins, 6-9 Fr. Nick Mayo, 6-1 So. Paul Jackson, and 6-2 Jr. Isaac McGlone. 

Nick Mayo keyed a late Eastern Kentucky 15-2 run to end the first half and give the Colonels a 51-35 halftime lead on their way to a 101-67 victory over Thomas More.  Eastern Kentucky shot 59.4% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 21 Thomas More turnovers.  Thomas More shot 42.1% from the field including 10 of 27 from beyond the arc.  They connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

Nick Mayo led Eastern Kentucky with 21 points, all in the first half.  Jarelle Reischel added 16 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, and five steals.  Javontae Hawkins recorded 16 points and six rebounds.  6-7 Fr. Anthony Pratt Jr. chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.  5-10 Fr. Dujuanta Weaver dished out nine assists.  6-1 So. Daniel Parke, a Richmond native tallied his first points as a Colonel as he recorded six points and a steal in two minutes of playing time.

6-4 Fr. Junior Stockwell led Thomas More with 11 points.  Sawyer Pauly and 6-5 So. Austin Young each recorded nine points on three three point baskets.
