Mason Alstatt scored on a 58 yard run and M. Guilfoil caught a pass from Walker Wood for the two point conversion with 4:42 left in the game to give Lafayette a 35-28 come-from-behind victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay had a late opportunity but fumbled deep in Lafayette’s territory to end the threat.  Lafayette recorded 19 first downs and 478 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 10 times for 100 yards and lost two fumbles.  Henry Clay recorded 21 first downs and 343 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 52 yards and lost three fumbles.

Mason Alstatt led Lafayette’s ground game with 203 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries.  Walker Wood carried the ball 18 times for 113 yards.  Walker Wood completed eight of 13 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns.  Quinten Brown caught three passes for 47 yards.  M. Guilfoil added three receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown.  Mason Alstatt added a 66 yard reception and Dekwan Edwards caught a 19 yard touchdown pass.  Cameron Morgan led the defense with eight solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards and recovered two fumbles.  Ean Shaw added seven solo and five assisted tackles.  Javarus Blair recorded seven solo and two assisted tackles.

Joquise Buford led Henry Clay’s ground game with 211 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries.  Austin Bledsoe carried the ball 10 times for 41 yards and Davonte Robinson added 37 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  CJ Tackett completed two of four passes for 20 yards.  Marcus Tyler completed both his passes for 24 yards.  Austin Bledsoe caught four passes for 44 yards.  Ramond Jackson led the defense with eight solo and one assisted tackles.  Will Oreston added four solo and seven assisted tackles.  Johnson-Sanders recorded six solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards.
