Lafayette defeated Bryan Station on a cold, wet, windy night by a score of 19-12.  Lafayette went to their power game tonight allowing their backs to run behind their huge and talented offensive line and did not turn the ball over tonight.  Bryan Station was unable to get their high octane offense untracked tonight as passing was extremely difficult with the inclement weather conditions.  Bryan Station QB Andre Davis suffered an injury late and was replaced in the final quarter.  Lafayette recorded 17 first downs and 332 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 10 times for 82 yards.  Bryan Station recorded 15 first downs and 259 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized four times for 25 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Mason Alstatt carried the ball 29 times for 135 yards and a touchdown.  Walker Wood carried the ball 26 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns.  Walker Wood completed both his passes for six yards.  Matt Guilfoil caught two passes for six yards.  Javarus Blair led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles.  Daquis Sharp added five solo tackles.  Tejrin McCoy, Cameron Morgan, and Branden Layne each recovered fumbles and Michael Clay intercepted a pass that he returned 28 yards.

Andre Davis led Bryan Station’s ground game with 94 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  Devon Key carried the ball 17 times for 81 yards.  Andre Davis completed eight of 14 passes for 27 yards with one interception.  Quinten Floyd completed three of eight passes for 47 yards.  Rafael Few caught four passes for 46 yards.  James Bryant led the defense with 11 solo tackles with two of his losses resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Devon Key added six solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Shane Preston recorded eight solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss.
