Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Sarah Bridenbaugh started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Nicole Armstrong, 5-5 Jr. Kristina Rosen, 6-2 Sr. Brooke Todd, 5-4 Sr. ShaKeema Jackson, and 5-5 Jr. Megan Griggs.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-9 Jr. Raevin Cain, 5-9 Fr. Lindsey Johns, 6-2 Sr. Shadae Bosley, 5-5 Sr. Bailey O’Bryan, and 5-7 Sr. Hailey Christian.

The score was tied 29-29 after three quarters but Paul Laurence Dunbar outscored Madison Central 16-6 in the final quarter to earn a 45-35 victory.  There were six lead changes and five ties in this game.  Dunbar shot 22.4% from the field including two of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 21 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 28% from the field including one of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 Dunbar turnovers.

ShaKeema Jackson led Dunbar with 21 points.  5-4 So. Ezzy Ighodaro added 10 points and six rebounds.  Brooke Todd recorded five points, 15 rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Nicole Armstrong pulled down 11 rebounds.

Bailey O’Bryan led Madison Central with 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  Shadae Bosley added nine points, 12 rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.  Lindsey Johns chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Raevin Cain pulled down seven rebounds.
