Scott County (7-5)  vs.  Henry Clay (5-8)  January 5, 2010

Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup:  6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton, 6-3 So. Tamron Manning, 6-2 So. Isaiah Ivey, 6-3 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Jr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Jr. Brandon Nichols, 6-5 Jr. Daniel Kiesling, 5-10 Jr. Marquel Johnson, and 5-8 So. Wes Kimball.

Scott County outscored Henry Clay 16-6 in the second quarter on their way to a 61-48 victory.  Scott County shot 39.7% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 32.2% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

Chad Jackson led Scott County with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Dakotah Euton added 12 points and five rebounds and Ge-Lawn Guyn chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.

Wes Kimball led Henry Clay with 16 points including three three point baskets.  Kimball also pulled down seven rebounds.  Daniel Kiesling added eight points and seven rebounds.
