Republic Bank Holiday Classic (Boys) Day 5

RBHC5(Boys) December 30th

Seneca 74  Clark County 69 (Consolation Bracket) – Clark County led 36-13 in the second quarter but Seneca rallied for a 74-69 victory. Seneca outscored Clark County 23-10 in the third quarter to gain control of the game.  6-4 Sr. Aaron Nance led Seneca with 22 points and 12 points.  6-4 Jr. Walter Alexander, 6-2 Jr. Kevin Shaw, and 6-3 Jr. Martez Harris added 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.  6-8 Jr. Vinny Zollo led Clark County with 20 points and 19 rebounds.  6-6 Jr. Jaylen Daniel added 19 points.  6-4 Jr. Robbie Stenzel recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists.  Aaron Nance (Seneca), Martez Harris (Seneca), Vinny Zollo (Clark County) , and Corey Rogers (Clark County) were all named to the all tournament team.

McCreary Central 53  Male 47 (Consolation Bracket 3rd Place Game) – McCreary Central took a 36-18 lead in the third quarter and held on for a victory.  Male pulled to within three points; 41-38 but could never take control of the game.  6-2 Sr. Aaron Watts led the victors with 26 points and 15 rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Jacob Dixon added 11 points and seven rebounds.  6-2 Sr. James Pillschafske led Male with 14 points including four three point baskets.  5-11 Sr. D’Carlo Hayes added 12 points.  Aaron Watts (McCreary Central), Jacob Dixon (McCreary Central), D’Carlo Hayes (Male), and Kevin Glenn (Male) were all named to the all tournament team.

Trinity (Louisville) 60  Lexington Catholic 58 (OT) (Tournament Bracket) (Championship) – Trinity led 29-15 at halftime but Lexington Catholic’s defensive pressure allowed the Knights to stage a comeback and actually take a 46-38 in the final quarter.  Trinity rallied and finished the quarter on a 13-5 run to force overtime.  6-1 So. Troy Saxton hit a key field goal and two free throws in overtime to help the Shamrocks to victory.  LexCath had one last opportunity but could not get the shot to fall.

Trinity shot 48.9% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 40% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Trinity turnovers.

6-5 Sr. Taylor Epley led Trinity with 21 points including four three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Josh Sewell added 17 points and six rebounds.

6-0 So. Jaylen Beckham led Lexington Catholic with 27 points and five rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Scott Schuette added nine points on three three point baskets.  6-4 Jr. Taylor Martin added eight points and eight rebounds.

Josh Sewell (Trinity), Taylor Epley (Trinity), Charles Foster (Trinity), Daniel Corbett (Trinity), Jaylen Beckham (Lexington Catholic), Taylor Martin (Lexington Catholic), and Scott Schuette (Lexington Catholic) were all named to the all tournament team and Josh Sewell was named Tournament MVP.

Congratulations to both teams for a well played, exciting game and to Trinity for capturing both the King of the Bluegrass and the Republic Bank Holiday Classic titles.  Also congratulations to McCreary Central who actually played five games in this tourney and went home with a 3rd place finish and a 4-1 tourney record.

Clinton County 56  Hopkins County Central 27 (Consolation Bracket) – Clinton County scored 30 points off 27 Hopkins County Central turnovers in a victory today.  6-5 Sr. James Dyer led the victors with 14 points.  6-4 Sr. cameron Tabor led Hopkins County Central with 10 points.

Mercer County 71  Prestonsburg 28 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-3 Jr. Aaron Lee, 6-2 Jr. Clay Cinnamon, and 5-9 Jr. Trey Compton led Mercer County with 13, 13, and 10 points respectively.5-9 Jr. Warren Blackburn and 6-2 Sr. Michael Burchett led Prestonsburg with nine and eight points respectively.

Scott High 60  Perry County Central 55 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Sr. Jake Niederegger led Scott with 21 points.  6-1 Jr Kellen Smith and 6-4  Sr. Keylo Jones added 13 points each.  6-2 Sr. Chris Noble led Perry County Central with 19 points including six three point baskets.

St. Xavier 50  Hazard 42 (Consolation Bracket) – 5-10 Jr. Michael Ising led a balanced St. Xavier scoring attack with nine points.  6-0 Sr. Patrick Butcher added seven points.  6-0 Sr. Josh Whitaker and 6-1 Jr. Jon Combs adde 12 and 10 points respectively.

West Jessamine 50  Boone County 48 (Consolation Bracket) – Boone County led West Jessamine 37-26 in the third quarter but West Jessamine rallied for the victory.  6-4 Sr. Gus Sherrow led the victors with 22 points and seven rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Jarrod Polson added 10 points and eight assists.  6-6 Sr. Andy Earls led Boone County with 18 points and nine rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Mikey Gabbard added 12 points.

Seneca 65  Highlands 62 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Jr. Walter Alexander, 6-3 Jr. Martez Harris, and 6-4 Sr. Aaron Nance led Seneca with 16, 15, and 12 points respectively.6-6 Jr. Jack Stewart, 6-1 Sr. Stephen Kowolonek, 5-9 Sr. Zack Lother, and 6-4 Sr. Garrett Smith-Keller led Highlands with 13, 11, 10, and 10 points respectively.

Clark County 70  Grayson County 48 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-5 Jr. Corey Rogers led Clark County with 17 points and seven rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Robbie Stenzel added 15 points and 6-8 Jr. Vinny Zollo recorded 12 points and nine rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Chase Kindred chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.  5-10 Sr. Travis Johnston led Grayson County with 24 points.

Lexington Catholic 66  McCreary Central 53 (Tournament Bracket Semifinal) – Lexington Catholic led 31-28 at halftime but pulled away in the second half for the victory.  LexCath scored 29 points off 23 McCreary Central turnovers.

6-3 Jr,. Scott Schuette led the victors with 18 points including five three point baskets.  6-4 Jr. Taylor Martin, 6-0 So. Jaylen Beckham, and 6-0 Jr. Seth Beckham added 14, 13, and 10 points respectively.  6-2 Sr. Aaron Watts led McCreary Central with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Watts recorded three three point baskets.  6-4 Jr.Jacob Dixon added 11 points.

Trinity (Louisville) 60  Male 57 (Tournament Bracket Semifinal) – 6-4 Sr. Josh Sewell hit a three pointer at the buzzer to give Trinity the victory.  Trinity once trailed 45-30 but went on a 17-0 run to take the lead at 47-45.  The game remained tight until the final shot by Sewell decided the issue.  Male came out hot from beyond the arc but Trinity’s defense made the difference in the second half.  Sewell recorded 17 points in the game.  6-0 Sr. Kevin Glenn led Male with 25 points including seven three point baskets.

St. Xavier 70  Mercer County 54 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Sr. Matt Lohr and 6-2 Fr. Tony Goral led St. Xavier with 13 and 10 points respectively.  6-6 Sr. Jamel Taylor led Mercer County with 14 points.

Hazard 53  Scott High 48 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Sr. Allan Fugate led Hazard with 12 points and six rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Josh Whitaker added 10 points and four steals.6-4 Sr. Jake Niederegger and 6-4 Sr. Keylo Jones led Scott with 14 and 10 points respectively.

Boone County 62  Muhlenberg County 41 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Jr. Trevan Brown, 6-0 Sr. Ryan Popp, and 6-3 Sr. Ronald Cotton led Boone County with 11, 11, and 10 points respectively.  5-9 Jr. Michael Civils led Muhlenberg County with eight points.

West Jessamine 65  Perry County Central 62 (OT) (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Sr. Gus Sherrow led West Jessamine with 19 points.  6-3 Sr. Jarrod Polson added 13 points and eight assists.  6-5 Sr. Tyler Mullins led Perry County Central with 15 points and 10 rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Chris Noble, 6-3 Sr. Corey Martin, and 5-10 Sr. Jordan Amis added 13, 12, and 11 points respectively.

Charles Foster recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.  6-6 Jr. Jack Stewart led Highlands with 13 points and six rebounds. 

McCreary Central 55  Seneca 50 (Tournament Bracket Quarterfinal) – McCreary trailed 13-3 after the first quarter but rallied for the victory.  6-5 Jr. Jacob Dixon led the victors with 17 points.  6-2 Sr. Aaron Watts added 16 points including three three point baskets and pulled down nine rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Zack Roark recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Aaron Nance led Seneca with 19 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

Lexington Catholic 58  Grayson County 43 (Tournament Bracket Quarterfinal) – Lexington Catholic outscored Grayson County 24-9 in the second quarter on their way to victory.  6-4 Jr. Taylor Martin and 6-3 Jr. Scott Schuette led LexCath with 16 and 12 points respectively.  6-0 So. Jaylen Beckham added eight points, nine rebounds, and five assists.  6-0 Jr. Hunter Gary led Grayson County with 14 points.

Male 68  Clark County 62 (Tournament Bracket Quarterfinal) – Male raced out to a 36-20 lead in the second quarter and connected on 21 of 27 free throws in their big win tonight.  5-11 Sr. D’Carlo Hayes led Male with 25 points including 15 of 18 free throws.  Hayes also pulled down nine rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Kevin Glenn and 6-4 Sr. Tony Horne added 13 and 10 points respectively.  6-8 Jr. Vinny Zollo led Clark County with 19 points and seven rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Robbie Stenzel added 18 points including four three point baskets.

Boone County 81  Hopkins County Central 29 (Consolation Bracket) – Hopkins County Central’s point guard Je’Vonte Hughes went down with an injury last night and Boone County scored 46 points off 38 turnovers in an 81-29 victory today.  6-9 Jr. Curtis Crabtree came off the bench to lead Boone County with 14 points.  6-0 Sr. Mikey Gabbard, 6-4 Jr. Travis Montgomery, and 6-6 Sr. Andy Earls added 13, 13, and 10 points respectively.  6-0 Jr. Jordan Todd and 6-1 Jr. Jordan VanVictor led Hopkins County Central with five points each.

Muhlenberg County 68  Clinton County 50 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-1 So. Tiger Warford,5-9 Jr. Michael Civils, 5-11 Jr. Kraig Farley, and 6-4 Sr. Grant Warford led Muhlenberg County with 20, 13, 12, and 10 points respectively.  Farley recorded four three point baskets.  6-5 Sr. James Dyer and 6-3 Sr. Storm Burchett led Clinton County with  21 and 15 points respectively.

West Jessamine 77  Prestonsburg 43 (Consolation Bracket) – 6-4 Sr. Gus Sherrow, 6-2 Sr. David Elliott, and 6-5 So. Sean Donaldson led the victors with 14, 14, and 11 points respectively.  6-2 Sr. Michael Burchett led Prestonsburg with 19 points.

Trinity(Louisville) 53  Scott 39 (Tournament Bracket) – Trinity outscored Scott 15-6 in the second quarter on their way to victory.  6-4 Sr. Josh Sewell led Trinity with 17 points.  6-0 So. Charles Foster added 10 points.6-4 Sr. Jake Niederegger and 6-1 Jr. Kellen Smith led Scott High with 13 and 10 points respectively.  Smith also dished out eight assists.

St. Xavier 78  Hopkins County Central 51 – St. Xavier charged out of the gate to take a 28-14 lead after the first quarter on their way to victory.  The Tigers connected on six three point baskets in the first quarter to take control of the game.

6-0 Sr. Patrick Butcher led a balanced St. Xavier attack with 13 points.  6-4 Sr. Matt Lohr and 6-5 Sr. Kyle Rizenbergs added 12 and 11 points respectively.  6-9 Sr. Daniel Croft led Hopkins County Central with 10 points.  5-7 So. Jalen Baxter and 6-3 Sr. Nikee Caldwell added eight points each.

Seneca 83  Boone County 66 – Boone County led 28-27 at halftime but Seneca’s pressure took its toll in the third quarter as they outscored Boone County 32-12 on their way to a win.  Seneca scored 29 points off 27 Boone County turnovers.

6-3 Sr. Jordan Jacobs, 6-3 Jr. Martez Harris, and 6-2 Jr. Kevin Shaw led Seneca with 17, 16, and 14 points respectively.  6-4 Jr. Walter Alexander added 13 points and seven rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Ronald Cotton,  6-6 Sr. Andy Earls, and 6-0 Sr. Mikey Gabbard led Boone County with 14, 13, and 13 points respectively.  6-4 Jr. Travis Montgomery also reached double figures with 10 points.

McCreary Central 75  Muhlenberg County 64 – 6-2 Sr. Aaron Watts came up big for the victors tonight with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists.  6-5 Jr. Jacob Dixon added 17 points including five three point baskets.  6-4 Sr. Tyler Perry added 15 points and eight rebounds.  5-11 Jr. Kraig Farley led Muhlenberg County with 15 points on five three point baskets.  5-9 Jr. Michael Civils and 6-4 Sr. Joe Gabbard added 10 points each.

Covington Scott 59  Clinton County 55 – Scott held on down the stretch to earn the victory.  6-1 Jr. Kellen Smith and 6-4 Sr. Jake Niederegger led Scott with 15 and 13 points respectively.  6-4 Sr. Keylo Jones added 12 points and six rebounds.  6-8 Sr. Daniel O’Connor recorded 10 points.  6-3 Sr. Storm Burchett led Clinton County with 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  6-5 Sr. James Dyer added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Lexington Catholic 72  Prestonsburg 42 – Lexington Catholic scored 28 points off 27 Prestonsburg turnovers and 12 players cracked the scoring column tonight for the victors.  6-1 So. Jaylen Beckham and 6-0 Jr. Seth Beckham led Lexington Catholic with 13 and 10 points respectively.  6-2 Sr. Micheal Burchett led Prestonsburg with 19 points and six rebounds.

Male 77  West Jessamine 62 – Male outscored West Jessamine 19-7 in the second quarter on their way to victory.  6-4 Sr. Tony Horne led Male with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  5-11 Sr. D’Carlo Hayes added 16 points and 10 assists.  6-0 Sr. Kevin Glenn and 6-2 Sr. James Pillischafske added 13 and 11 points respectively with each recording three three point baskets.  5-11 Sr. Kyle Mefford led West Jessamine with 14 points including four three point baskets.  6-2 Sr. David Elliott added 12 points and eight rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Jarrod Polson recorded 11 points and 10 assists.

 

Notes:  Seneca is for real, they are quick, athletic and can really turn up the heat on defense.  Aaron Watts (McCreary Central) can play the game; 30 points (official book) 12 rebounds, six assists, and three steals.  Lexington Catholic had the opportunity to play a lot of people tonight with only one player logging over 19 minutes (19:20) in an easy victory.

December 22nd

Manual 60  Christian Academy of Louisville 50 (Semifinal) – Manual outscored CAL 18-11 in the third quarter on their way to victory.Manual held an 18-6 advantage in second chance points and a 16-0 margin in bench scoring.  Manual shot 47.9% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 35.4% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Centurions connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Manual turnovers.

5-10 Jr. Mechael Guess led Manual with  18 points including eight of eight from the field and two of three from the free throw line.  5-10 So. Kara Wright added 11 points and seven rebounds.

6-2 Sr. Antonita Slaughter led CAL with 37 points and nine rebounds.  Slaughter was 13 of 20 from the field including three of six from the three point line and eight of nine from the free throw line.

Marion County 54  Elizabethtown 39 (Semifinal) – Elizabethtown led 26-25 at halftime but Marion County rallied to outscore Elizabethtown 29-13 in the second half to earn thwe victory.  Marion County scored 27 points off 21 Elizabethtown turnovers to pull away for the victory.

Marion County shot 44.7% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on seven of 13 free throws and pulled down 29 rebounds.  Elizabethtown shot 35.3% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Marion County turnovers.

5-9 Fr. Makayla Epps led Marion County with 19 points including three three point baskets.  5-9 So. Bre Elder added 13 points and seven rebounds.  6-1 Fr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.

5-6 Jr. Natalie Greenwell led Elizabethtown with 15 points.  6-0 Jr. Adelaide Luckett added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Marion County 44  Manual 42 (Championship) – 5-7 Sr. Andrea King hit two free throws with 34 seconds remaining in the game to preserve the victory.  Manual had a last second shot but the shot rimmed out and Marion County captured the championship.  The game was played at a fast pace with both teams playing a smothering defense with points hard to get.

Marion County shot 29.8% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored eight points off 17 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 43.2% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on two of nine free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Marion County turnovers.

6-1 Fr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers led the victors with 10 points and 11 rebounds.  5-9 So. Bre Elder added 10 points and 10 rebounds.  5-7 Jr. Brooke Roberts recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

5-8 So. Lauren Bodine led Manual with 11 points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Fr. Kayla Styles added 10 points and five rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Mechael Guess chipped in with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Christian Academy of Louisville 69  Lexington Catholic 61 (Quarterfinal) – Lexington Catholic battled down to the wire before CAL prevailed by a score of 69-61.  CAL shot 55.9% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 27 of 43 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 29.4% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 18 of 33 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 22 CAL turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Allison Karst led the victors with 35 points including three of four three point goals and 14 of 19 from the free throw line.  6-2 Sr. Antonita Slaughter added 16 points and eight rebounds.  5-8 Fr. China Dow recorded 11 points and 14 rebounds.

5-9 Fr. Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 23 points and six rebounds.  5-9 So. Jill Maronde added 12 points and 6-0 So. Alex Botkin recorded nine points and 11 rebounds.

Manual 50  Assumption 45 (Quarterfinal) – Manual shot 29.2% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 20 of 32 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 23 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 35.6% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 20 Manual turnovers.

5-10 So. Kara Wright and 5-4 Jr. Raven Hester led Manual with 14 and 11 points respectively.  6-2 Sr. Zakiyah Martin recorded six points and 11 rebounds. 

6-0 Sr. Molly Ernst led Assumption with 16 points.  Morgan Foley also reached double digits with 10 points.

Elizabethtown 57  Mercy Academy 41 (Quarterfinal) – Elizabethtown shot a blistering 62.1% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Mercy turnovers.  Mercy shot 31.4% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Elizabethtown turnovers.

5-6 Jr. Natalie Greenwell led the victors with 16 points.5-6 So. Tara Gilpin and 5-9 So Kaylyn Cecil added 12 and 10 points respectively.  Gilpin was three of three from beyond the arc.  6-0 Jr. Adelaide Luckett recorded eight points and 10 rebounds.

5-8 Sr. Ellen Sholtes led Mercy with 16 points including four three point baskets.  5-9 Sr. Therese Montano added 11 points.

Marion County 52  Sacred Heart Academy 40 (Quarterfinal) – Marion County raced out to a 14-4 first quarter lead on their way to victory.  Marion County shot 36.7% from the field including one of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Sacred Heart turnovers.  SHA shot 35.4% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored five points off 11 Marion County turnovers.

6-1 Fr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers led Marion County with 12 points and 15 rebounds.  5-9 Fr. Makayla Epps and 5-7 Jr. Brooke Roberts added 11 points each.5-7 Sr. Leah Storch and 5-9 Sr. Mary Gordon Stough led Sacred Heart with 11 and eight points respectively.  5-11 Jr. Morgan Clemons pulled down a team high 10 rebounds.

Lexington Catholic 73  Conner 67 – Lexington Catholic scored 33 points off 37 turnovers in a 73-67 victory.  Conner shot 50% from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line but turnovers proved to be the deciding factor.  5-8 Fr. Octavia Wilson led the victors with 19 points.  6-0 So. Alex Botkin added 15 points and eight rebounds.  5-6 Sr. Anna Gayle Scott and 5-9 So. Jill Maronde added 11 points each. 5-8 Jr. Toria Fischer led Conner with 26 points including five three point baskets.  5-6 So. Kara Taulbee added 18 points including four three point baskets.

Christian Academy of Louisville 40  Clay County 31 – 6-2 Sr. Antonita Slaughter led CAL with 13 points and six rebounds.5-10 Sr. Allison Karst and 5-8 Fr. China Dow added 10 and nine points respectively.  5-5 So. Alisha Mitchell led Clay County with 10 points.

duPont Manual 48  Lincoln County 40 – Manual raced out to a 15-0 lead ath the end of the first quarter on their way to a 48-40 victory.  5-10 Jr. Mechael Guess led Manual with 13 points and six rebounds.  5-6 So. LeAsia Wright added nine points.  5-9 Sr. Jessica Upchurch led Lincoln County with 17 points.  5-6 Fr. Emily Fox added 11 points including three three point baskets.

Assumption 50  Community School of Naples 24 – Assumption held a 58.1% to 13.3% advantage in field goal shooting in the victory.  6-0 Sr. Molly Ernst led Assumption with 20 points including four three point baskets.  5-8 Jr. Michelle Woods led Community School with 12 points.

December 20th

Elizabethtown 44  Highlands 41 – Elizabethtown outscored Highlands 19-4 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory.  Highlands held a 39-25 lead early in the fourth quarter but Elizabethtown outscored them 19-2 down the stretch.  5-9  So. Kaylyn cecil and 5-6 Jr. Natalie Greenwell led the victors with 14 points each.  6-0 Jr. Adelaide Luckett added 10 points and 12 rebounds.  6-0  Sr. Bekah Towles led Highlands with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Mercy Academy 66  Bullitt East 54 – Mercy outscored Bullitt East 16-7 in the third quarter on their way to victory.  5-8 Jr. Juliann Miller, 5-9 Sr. Therese Montano, and 5-8 Sr. Malisa Cruz led Mercy with 24, 13, and 11 points respectively.  5-11 Sr. Kayla Thacker led Bullitt East with 18 points including 13 of 15 from the free throw line.

Marion County 61  South Laurel 33 – Marion County scored 31 points off 27 South Laurel turnovers in victory  tonight.  6-1 Fr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers led Marion County with 24 points and eight rebounds.  5-9 So. Bre Elder, 5-9 Fr. Makayla Epps, and 5-7 Jr. Brooke Roberts added 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.  5-4 Sr. Jessica Dean led South Laurel with 18 points.

Sacred Heart Academy 66  Wayne County 47 – 5-11 Jr. Monica McGreal, 5-9 Sr. Mary Gordon Stough, and 5-4 Jr. Maddie Peabody led the victors with 15, 12, and 11 points respectively.  5-9 Fr. Jessica Hardin and 5-4 Jr. Kayla Bowlin led Wayne County with 17 and 15 points respectively.
