Circulation

Arachnids have an open circulatory system. Their blood is pale blue and has copper in it. Spiders have an open system for blood. There are no blood capillaries (veins where blood is carried throughout the body, as in a human). Instead the blood pours out of the ends of the arteries and it washes over the organs and tissues to places where it is needed. After this, blood goes back to the heart and the process begins all over again.
