OK. I know that most people don't care about my page, and my opinion. But just hear me out. There are many reasons why we should ban the new show: Reason #1 - Sure, Angel's cute, but a whole show based around a person whos main hobbies are brooding, reading, brooding, and brooding some more? Hmmm.... Reason #2 - Even worse possibility - How about being a devout Buffy and Angel fan, but being forced to watch Angel flirt and suck face with KATE. Ewwwww!!!!! (see preview where Angel asks Kate,"Do you need to be....um.....rescued? Are you a damsel in distress?" Talk about lame pick-up line. Nightmare inducing lame pick-up line.) Reason #3 - If this show doesn't work out (i.e.: if people don't watch), it's back to Sunnydale for Angel. And hopefully, the death.. er... dumping of Riley. Reason #4 - Another day another damsel in distress.... Has anyone noticed that every week, the synopsis in the T.V. is basically the same? Some chick gets in trouble, and needs a big strong man to save her (namely Angel). Besides being a blow to feminism, it's also extremely droll. Aren't there any MEN that need help in L.A.? Next week on "Angel". Cordelia/or some other girl needs Angel's help. Quality. More reasons to come... Note: You can still watch Angel without supporting it! Do what I'm probably going to do - tape it! Tapings don't count towards ratings. Think about it, huh? At least tape the first one, that way you can sort of put it through a test-trial.
