A helix piercing is a variation of the conch piercings. As shown in the picture, the helix is part of the cartilage of the ear closest to the face. Normally, it's located directly above the ear lobe. This type of piercing surfaced in the 1990's and has been becoming more and more popular with the growing trend of piercing.
Care Instructions
6 - 12 months of healing time
Use saline solution (1/8 to 1 tsp sea salt to 8 oz. water) or prepackaged care solutions usually found anywhere ears are pierced.
