ICIS home page The International Council of Independent States (ICIS) was 
Charter founded on 1st June 1984, and four years later, in 1988, the  
News Secretary-General announced the establishment of the 
Stamps of the ICIS ICIS Postal Administration, in effect, the ICIS's own Post Office,  
Official Bulletin to handle inwards and outwards mail. The ICIS Postal Administration  
Members has its Post Offices at the World H.Q. and at each of the  
Apply to join ICIS Regional Offices, and for all intents and purposes, these function like  
Flags of Members normal Post Offices, receiving and despatching mails,  
selling the distinctive ICIS stamps, and datestamping mail and forms.

ICIS members live all round the planet.

The thirtieth anniversary of the Council, and the ICIS' first-ever triangular stamp.

A monarch butterfly cocoon is shown on this stamp of 2000.  200th birthday of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, 1990.  The intricate backgrounds of the 1988 definitive set aroused much admiration at the time.  In 1989, many countries sent teams to the World Starcross Championships.  A newly-hatched monarch butterfly is on the 75 cents stamp of 2000.   2005 Roses 30 cents.
