     Surf Report - March 26, 2003

What a Pro sez:

Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2003
----------------------------------------------------------------------

SURF SYNOPSIS:

Nearshore buoys readings are a little smaller than yesterday, but the south is a bit more dominant.

No forecast available today as the NOAA WW III wave model site is not responding.

Next swell should be a N-NW swell arriving Friday.

Possibly significant S-SW swell arriving around Tuesday, April 2.

FOG ATTACK!!!

=========================================================================

What I say:

Totally fogged in along the beaches from Torrey Pines to WindanSea.

I went back to The Shores to try the one mile swim - round trip to the buoy is 1 mile.

Fog seemed to lift a bit, so started the swim.

Fog came back in, I'm not that stoked on swimming alone in the fog, even though I could probably make the swim in my sleep.

I came in, able to get to work by 7:00 am - I love this time of year!

Later,

BA
