I feel special :) apparently some ppl do read my blog.. hehe

Today I got to observe users interact with and evaluate some feature ideas that I had come up with for the next Mac Office. It got me thinking.. how valuable is our user feedback? Sometimes it's obvious that the user is just giving responses to satisfy the interviewer. What do you do in this case? The user's already been told that we want their honest feedback.. there's no wrong answer.. tell us if the idea sucks.. etc.. then we're left with skewed user data and can we honestly make business decisions based on this??? hmm... something to think about and question..

What's on this weekend? I'm bumming around. I'm exploring Seattle tomorrow, watching "Saved", rock climbing sunday and going to my last darkroom class.. woo hoo!

Okay.. tire hunting.. oil changes.. 50,000 mile service.. ahh!! I really wish I had a guy who could just take my car and do the scheduled oil changes, service, tire purchases etc.. unfortunately I'm stuck doing this by myself. I don't know what all this means?! So first thing I did today is schedule an oil change for tomorrow morning.. it's a week late, is that ok? Now, I'm looking into buying new tires. Here's a site that I found which compares tires for my car. Does it seem a little odd that one of the most reasonably priced tires also has the highest consumer rating? help? and how does a tire compare on "comfort"? I'm soooo confused.. :(

I now have a swim coach!! yay!! I'm slightly embarassed at the thought of someone having to help me become a better swimmer because I suck so royally..

In 17 days (and counting) I'll be heading to San Fran for the Apple WWDC. I'll be there from June 27 - July 4. I can't wait! I'll get to hang out with Karen, Buddy, Marc & Cherith (who's doing a west coast trip).

In other news, for those of you away from Canada and wanting to vote, go to this site. Your registration form needs to reach Ottawa by June 22.. so act now! :) Your ballot needs to arrive at Elections Canada by June 28.

So I thought I'd finally pick up Ken Wilbers "A Brief History of Everything". I have to admit, I'm not too impressed. Most of what I've read so far is just a repackaging of old ideas to make it more accessibile to readers.

Here's a review I found.
