This weekend was hectic:
Friday: Montreal -> Toronto -> Brampton
Saturday: Brampton -> Toronto -> Brampton -> Mississauga -> Waterloo
Sunday: Waterloo -> Brampton -> Toronto -> Montreal
Friday I just hung out with my parents and ate some yummy Indian food.
Saturday was Shan's engagement party. It's really weird seeing someone whom you consider a sister getting engaged. We're the same age, so being at that engagement party made me feel like such an adult! Shan's got her life in order...just bought a new house, recently engaged...so it made me take a good hard look at my life. And you know what?? Other than being so far away from people I care about, I really like where I am in life.
I also met Pat in Toronto and we hung out during the day. We checked out the latest exhibit at the ROM (a little dissappointing actually) and then went out for sushi. It was really nice to not pay $100 for sushi...what's wrong with Montreal?!! After the engagement party, we drove back to Waterloo and crashed there.
Sunday, went back to Brampton, hung out with the parents for a bit and then went back to Toronto to catch my train back home..
I was supposed to go climbing again tonight but haven't been able to shake this migrain that's been plaguing me all day :(
