Get away from your computer and turn on the TV for a moment. If you have cable, switch to MTV. Watch for 30 seconds. Count how many references to sex you see in there. Switch to another show, a show you can watch with your parents. There's not much, but maybe the comedy "Ally McBeal" might work. How many references to sex are there? Yes, it's a singles topic. But even though we could somewhat assume that our youth do not practice premarital sex, they are also exposed to references to it as much as the mature single person.
These are the words of two youth who thought about the amount of sex alluded to or actually shown in the media. They share with us their thoughts today.
