Answers

1. TCW is a backyard wrestling organization in which some teenage guys hold professional-style wrestling matches and produce tapes of these matches for fun. We hold the matches in a backyard on a trampoline, however the matches very rarely stay on the trampoline.

2. Our wrestling tapes don't just include matches. We tape also tape interviews and "skits" like you would see on a real Pro Wrestling television show. These extras add to our feuds and make the tapes enjoyable and entertaining to everyone who watches them- not just the wrestling fans.

3. Yes, the endings to all the matches are planned in advance. We also plan all major moves and when they will occur before the match. Some moves a improvised during the match just like in the WWF or WCW, but none of the moves are intended to actually hurt anyone. Our goal is for every move to look like it hurt, but for it to be completely safe.

4. TCW has mostly standard professional wrestling rules. However, there are a few exceptions. Falls count anywhere in every TCW match and there are no countouts. Also, TCW referees allow minimal use of weapons in matches.

5. Yes, we hold "harcore" or "extreme" matches in TCW. These are the matches which involve all sorts of weapons as well as things such as tables and ladders. However, we hold these matches with the same guidelines as our normal matches- all moved must be done safely. TCW is not like a lot of other backyard wrestling organizations who actually hurt themselves in these matches. In TCW we prefer to practise out moves so that they look deadly, but are actually harmless. However, nothing can be done about the occasional minor injury such as a headache from a shot to the head with a weapon, but we have never had any sort of major injury on TCW.

6. TCW currently has three title belts. The most important title in TCW is the World Title. TCW's secondary title is only contested in hardcore matches, and it is called the eXtreme Title. The third title is the Backyard Title. One thing we will never do in TCW is have too many title belts. Some backyard federations have so many belts it seems like every wrestler holds one. That is just embarassing and in TCW we like our belts to actually mean something.

7. Our belts are some of the best anywhere in backyard wrestling. The straps are made out of fake leather, with real metal snaps. Each belt has a metal faceplace and two sideplates. These plates have designs made by a TCW wrestler and are have a clear plastic coating to protect the metal and to make it shine.

8. No, we do not hold events that are open to the public.

9. TCW has one main booker, but all wrestlers are able to give ideas and input to the booker and to work together with him to decide where his storyline is headed. The planning of the outcome of the matches is the booker's job, but the moves in the match are decided by the participants in the match.

11. As with any physical activity, there is the possibility of injuries. However, in TCW we have almost a perfect record when it comes to injuries. We study professional wrestling and practise hard to learn how to execute moves safely. There is always a chance that someone could make a mistake while performing a move, but it is probably more likely that we would suffer a serious injury in a sport like football than in the confines of the backyard. We all love wrestling and the risk of injury is one we are willing to take.

12. The decision to end TCW was made because, while we all still enjoy wrestling and making tapes, the wrestlers in TCW now have jobs and many of us are in university or college. We just do not have the time to run TCW anymore.

13. It is unlikey, but there is always the possibility of a reunion show. However, is such a show were to occur it would most likely be just for the fun and not so that we would have another tape to sell.
