Background: In January 2002, Diamond, with outside interference from Panther, defeated Tina in a career match, driving her out of the NFWA forever...or so we thought. Hellbent on gaining revenge against the couple, Tina secured a job with Angelfire (the NFWA's primary sponsor/distributor) as the Senior Vice President of Internet Operation and made her return to the NFWA, using her new found power to make Panther's life a living hell. Her first act as the head of Angelfire was to recruit Kerrboski and DJP (Kerrboski being one of Panther's rivals in their GFW days), who would go on to bring 3 tag team championships into the organization. Tina's biggest coup, however, came at Game Time 2002, where she and NFWA Commissioner Firestorm injured Panther, putting him out of the NFWA indefinitely. With Panther and Diamond (who was away on maternity leave) out of the picture, Angelfire had unquestioned rule over the NFWA, and over the next few months engaged in a reign of terror unmatched by any force in NFWA history. With wrestlers such as Sewaside, Kid Money, The Game, Alyssa Sanders and T Money in the fold, Angelfire captured title after title, toppling practically every major challenge in their path. Then, in April 2002, Tina did the unthinkable when she, with help from her sister and acting CEO Joanie, viciously attacked a pregnant Diamond, causing her to miscarriage. The attack was enough to lure former CEO Panther back to the NFWA for revenge. A match was signed pitting Panther and Diamond against Tina and Firestorm; if Panther and Diamond won, Angelfire would have to disband, but if Tina and Firestorm won, the NFWA would close for good. The momentum appeared to be with Panther and Diamond leading into the Slamfest 2 encounter, as Angelfire appeared to be falling apart at the seams. However, a timely run-in by Tina's former ally Shawn Michaels sealed the NFWA's fate, and Tina pinned Panther for the Angelfire victory. The group disbanded shortly before the final NFWA card, but the group will go down in history as perhaps the most dominant, and hated group in NFWA history.
