Calculating Time
There is a way to calculate the time it takes for the front and back of a roller coater to go a certain distance. If you want to determine which seat on the roller coaster is going faster, then you use velocity. Compare the average velocity of the front of the roller train to the back. Then measure the distance each part went. Find a reference point at the front and back, also. Then after it is calculated, you will find that in a corkscrew, the back goes faster than the front over a certain distance. Acceleration = Force divided by Mass.
