Shower

One of my rare titled poems, I actually like this one a teensy bit.

When she woke in the morning,
She reached across
and felt
his side of the bed cold
* * *
She ran to the doorway
He turned off the water
And she knew she was safe
inside
again

To tell the truth, I don't like this one all that much; it didn't turn out as well as I thought it would.

To me
You're up above the stars
It's just the way you are
* * *
To me
It's only you I see
I hope you'll marry me.
* * *
You're perfect
You mean everything to me.

Celestial

I wrote this one at work on a piece of receipt paper (romantic, eh?), and it was featured on the Guest Pages at EmeraldversE for the month of December.

She was looking out from
her place beyond
the
stars.
* * *
Grabbed me by the
wrist
and pulled me
up to inspiration.
* * *
She told me she would be mine.
I told her I would be hers.
Then were swallowed by
the beauty of
our view.

It has been a long time since I wrote last. But here it is, more crap!

Gone again
Love, I'm gone
again.
Out the sliding
doors
Am I the first
thought
on
a morning mind?
