Silver Demon
Silver Demon was submitted for the Salmonfly.Net issue "All that Glitters is not Gold" by Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace. This well known silver-bodied fly is a good example of an effective fly that glitters without a lot of flash. See Bill's notes below. Read more about William Lovelace and see more of his flies at The Flies of William Lovelace. Bill's Notes: This is a variation of the Golden Demon Steelhead fly popularized by Zane Grey on the North Umpqua River.
