Orange and Yellow Marabou (Alaskabou Variation)
Tied By William Lovelace

Orange and Yellow Marabou

Name

Blue and White Marabou

Category Steelhead
Hook Mustad 36890 #6 with bead chain eyes
Thread Red Monocord
Body

Pearl Krystal Flash tail tied in at hook midpoint; White and Blue Marabou palmered forward from the Krystal Flash.

Orange and Yellow Marabou (Alaskabou Variation) was tied by Salmonfly.Net Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace.

Bill's Notes: "I tied these marabou flies in the 80’s off a catalog fly picture when George Cook’s Alaskabou and Popsicle flies first became popular. If I tied them today the Krystal Flash would be kept longer extending past the Marabou."
