Bill's notes: "A subdued low water pattern created by Arnold Arana in the mid 40’s for the Klamath River. Rough up the body so it looks ragged. As Trey Combs says in Steelhead Fly Fishing and Flies “Nothing is entirely new. The Barley Sack by E. T. Halvorsen of San Francisco predates the Burlap.”"
