Clouser Deep Minnow (Brown & White)

Tan 3/0 Monocord

This version of the Clouser Deep Minnow was tied by Contributing Fly Tyer William Lovelace.   See Bill's notes below, but also read more about him, and see many more of his flies at The Flies of William Lovelace.

Bill's Notes: Many people think the Clouser Minnow is the most versatile fly in the world. If you like it I encourage any tyer to buy Clouser's Flies-Tying & Fishing the Fly Patterns of Bob Clouser. Two important tying considerations- the eyes should be positioned about 1/3 of the shank length behind the hook eye and the Krystal flash should extend past the buck tail at least ½ inch.
