Pseudo Spey Carron

Name

Pseudo Spey Carron

Category Salmon Fly
Hook Partridge CS 10
Body Orange wool
Pseudo Spey Hackle Long black Arctic Fox, without underwool wrapped around the front of the hook
Front Hackle Dark teal

Pseudo Spey Carron was tied by Danish fly tyer, Per Hansen. You can see more of his flies at The Flies of Per Hansen.

Per's Notes: This a very well known pattern, but I have changed it by using long black Arctic Fox hair instead of the expensive Herron feathers, and I have made a new front hackle. The fly have is known for its success.
