Silver Flash

Name Silver Flash
Category Pacific Salmon
Hook Size 2/0-2, Salmon Hook of Choice
Thread White
Tail Pearl Flashabou
Body Silver Tinsel Chenille
Wing Orange Bucktail or FisHair
Eyes Silver Bead Chain

This is a simple to tie yet effective fly can be tied a in a variety of sizes. Tied on a shorter hook, it may pass as an egg imitation attractor, on a larger shank as a streamer attractor. I have found both to be effective at different times and different species. Silver Flash was designed by Dave Sullivan for pinks, chums, and kings. The bead chain eyes help to get this fly down into deep holes or riffles.
