The pattern for this fly, originated by Don Larson, of Seattle came from the fine book by Dick Stewart and Farrow Allen, Flies for Steelhead. They write that this fly was fished successfully on the Kispiox River and Skeena River System in British Columbia. This fly should be dressed sparsely.
