Generic Mayfly |

Generic Mayfly was tied by Ken Broadhead. You will find many more of his exceptional flies, at The Flies of Ken Broadhead. Ken's Notes: I know this a salmon/steelhead site but have to include it. I got this idea from H.G. Tappley The Sportsman's Notebook. He called it the “Nearinuf”. I tie this fly in any body / hackle color. …The only constants being turkey flat wings (although other flank feathers can be used), and the sparse moose tail/mane fibers. |
