Webmaster Notes: Cains River Streamers were named after the Cains River in New Brunswick. Mr. Fred N Peet, from Chicago, used this type of streamer successfully in that area in 1924. These streamers, were first tied on regular length hooks, but now are tied mostly on 3x and 4x long shank hooks which are more effective.
