Tube	1 to 1 ½ inch plastic
Tail	Orange dyed pheasant rump wound as a hackle followed by four orange dyed grizzly saddle hackles stripped except for the tip tied in randomly around the tube; and some dyed orange lady Amherst tail dyed orange and tied in randomly around the tube.
Body	Fiery brown SLF spun in a dubbing loop
Hackle	Four orange dyed grizzly saddle hackles stripped except for the tip tied in randomly around the tube; and some dyed orange lady Amherst tail dyed orange and tied in randomly around the tube then an orange dyed pheasant rump wound as a hackle.
Cone	Black turbo type cone

Charlie's Notes: This fly was invented by artist Rick Harington and it is a fly he uses successfully on some Lake Ontario tributaries. Rick goes by the name SLSS on several internet bulletin boards hence the name. When I asked him for the pattern he said he really didn’t have one for it and kind of made it up as he went along. So what I have below is as close to Ricks fly as I could get in look and feel. It has worked well for me.
