.. sixth show .. Event Center ~ Casper, WY September 15th, 2000 Red Hot Chili Peppers picture is not from Event Center show I planned on going to this show a couple months ago with Isaac .. when the time came I still wanted to go but didn't have the money .. then at the last minute my friend, Nick, called and said that him, Steve, and Hugh were going and all I would have to pay for would be my ticket .. they came to my house in ten minutes and we were on our way .. the drive wasn't nearly as long as the drive to Denver .. it was a breeze .. we got to Casper and found our hotel with an hour to spare .. we drove to the Event Center, which was a mob but not that bad … we got in, disappointed that we didn't have floor seats but still happy to be there … its always weird going to shows in other towns with lots of people and not knowing a single one .. but through out the show we ran into people we knew from Billings .. a couple homies .. the first band, Bicycle Thief wasn't too bad … the lead singer was a bit over-emotional singing about getting stoned and watching tv .. Stone Temple Pilots put on a good show .. Scott Weiland dancing around like a bird and running to the back of the arena and standing on top of the sound equipment in the middle of a song … then praying at the end with the American flag draped over his head .. God Bless America! .. I was ecstatic when Chili Peppers came out .. all I wanted was to see Flea and not only did I see him but he played my favorite song, Pea, which I thought they wouldn't play because its on One Hot Minute and they don't play songs off it anymore because they wrote it with Dave Navarro .. I about shit my pants when Flea started singing .. After the show, we managed to get some hippy guy to buy the biggest bottle of vodka he could get .. then we went back to the hotel and had a good ol' time .. we definitely caused ruckus in that hotel .. managed to get out with a gas mask we found in the basement .. we got everything, except for the show, on video tape ..
