Pepsi Center ~ Denver, Co March 31st, 2000 Nine Inch Nails picture is not from Pepsi Center show My friend, Eric, my boyfriend, Isaac, and i drove down to Denver on Sunday June 18th to see Ween. We knew that Nine Inch Nails was playing but we didn't buy tickets because they were shitty seats at $50 bucks a pop. We arrived in Denver and just fucked around. We thought we would just drive up to the Pepsi Center to see if we could get lucky and find some scalpers though the show had already been going on for an hour and a half. Right as we pulled into the parking lot a scalper ran up to us and sold us three floor seat tickets for $30 each. Isaac was so dumbfounded that he couldn't even count his money. We got the tickets, parked the car, and ran to the Pepsi Center. Had to go through all this bullshit to finally get in then Eric and Isaac ran right for the floor. There was no way i was going into that mosh pit. I was content right where I was at the top of the stairs. Once again, we missed the opening band, Perfect Circle. But we really didn't care. It was by far one of the most amazing shows I had ever been to. The whole time i was standing there I couldn't believe that I was looking right at Trent Reznor. It was actually him in the flesh. When they were almost done with their set, right in the middle of Hurt, I saw something coming up the stairs out of the corner of my eye. It was Isaac, gripping onto the railing trying to pull himself up the stairs. He walked up to me and just collapsed in my arms all hot and sweaty. It was so cute.
