Mercer Arena ~ Seattle, Wa Bumbershoot ~ Summer '97 in order of appearance Reel Big Fish Smash Mouth Sugar Ray pictures are not from Mercer show I saw these shows at Bumbershoot, a huge music and arts festival that takes place in Seattle Center at the end of every summer. The first day i saw Reel Big Fish. They put on an awesome show. Ska bands often have amazing shows, so i've heard. Everyone was dancin around, the whole arena was alive. It was great. It was my niece's first show, she doesn't like the same type of music i like but i dragged her along with me anyways and even she had a good time. Then on the third day we saw Smash Mouth and Sugar Ray. They were just up and coming bands at the time. When Sugar Ray was "cool", if they ever were. But the shows were pretty good.
