September 28, 1999: school?!hey everyone, foist off.. new pictures are up! GO check them out.today is my second day back at schoo. and it's much better, even though tuesdays are my longest day. so yeah...but yesterday, though...i had psych at 8.30am..ug! the walk was pretty long and i had to go up some stairs. *blah* i think this class will be okay...and then i had a gaping four-hour break until my second (and last) class of the day. so for the first half of the break, i went to savery to scan, but i had to wait forever to get a scanner..cuz foist of all, there was a gimp using MY lucky scanner! and he was there too damn long..and then the scanner i got..someone before me had tinted it..so when it scanned..it came out looking like a negative. it took two guys a LONG-ass time to figure out how to fix it. by then..i had already booted up a MAC puter..rejected it cuz the gimp finally left..and scanned half my pics! then for the next two hours..i accompanied annie to her two classes..both psych courses...cuz i'm THAT nice. *heh* on the way to one of her classes, ecampus.com gave us free shirts! so that was coo! her classes are alright..the first prof had an annoying voice, and the second one has an accent. :P we had our last class of the day at the same time, but were sidetracked by free stuff on the way...we had to fill out 3 credit card applications, though. but i was running late, so i ran off with the applications and the guy's pen. afterwards, annie said that he kept saying: she took my pen! she took my pen! *L* i was gonna come back after that class and turn all my stuff in, k? so the last class was math120. do i need to tell you how much i hate it? see, i took math124 my first quarter here, but i did poorly and got a 1.8 out of it..it's not enough to pass onto math 125 (if i wanted to do that.. HELL NO!) and if i retook 124, they'd just average my scores..so what do i have left to do? go backwards! so that's why i'm taking 120..which is obviously a freshman class... ..cuz ya know..they can't read! everything was on the syllabus..and yet the kept asking the prof this and that..and i was like..DYING up in the back row! ug. i already feel stupid enough as it is to have to go this route..i did this math when i was in middle school (for the most part), so i'm already dying of shame, ya know? but having two people ask what blue books are..is just too much! so then i met up with annie, but the credit card booth was gone..so i'm keeping their pen! *EG* we went to have pad thai..which was okay, but annie says they can make it better elsewhere, so we're going somewhere in olympia this weekend for some Real Good Pad Thai. then we parted ways so she could have her copy center interview (i decided to not take it) and i went home! jennifer came up again, but we didn't get the door cuz we were both sleeping, but she was with wilson..so that's coo..she came up again (she came up on sunday as well) cuz she forgot to get a textbook for koply (her new bf)..so she did that..came by here real quick and then left. so now it's tuesday. a better day. i started at 9.30, with psych section.. we did some group work and the ppl i was working with seemed nice enough. then i went to communications..and moani is in my lecture! how coo is that? we just talka to catch up and it was really nice. :) then i mosey-ed around to my math section... and i ended up talking to this girl who sat down beside me. yeah..she's a freshman..but she seems alright..we talked the whole time before class.. during class..and a lil' after. so i'm glad that i talked to someone new today.. i'm supposed to be doing that ya know..to make new friends and all? *L* i'm in the puter lab wasting two hours before my last class: The concert series with wilson..i'm pretty beat..i just wanna sleep but i'm STARVING. i invited annie to come to class with us if she wanted to. to wrap this all up..look at the new pictures! i worked hard on getting them arranged for everyone. and i'll talk to you at least one more time before i go home for the weekend. :DDDDDD byeeeeeeeeeeee! last old entry was September 26, 1999. September 29, 1999: i can't believe it.....i've already missed class! *GRRRRRRRR*see, i didn't set my alarm last night..but since larry leaves earlier than me..and i usually wake up after he leaves cuz he makes so much noise...i thought i'd wake up okay. NOPE! i woke up at NINE. i have class at EIGHT THIRTY !@#!@ $@#$! #$!# !@#$%!! anyways, i was just really tired last night. and i wasn't able to get any sleep because larry was *snoring* the whole night. *arf* i swear i just stayed up and kept poking him so he'd stop. so let's see..i updated yesterday, and to make things more.. smooth, i'll post yesterday's right below this update..cuz i got all frazzled since angelfire said i had NO room on my ClaireLuv page....but last night i cleaned it up a bit so i'll have room to always have a today page going on this URL and to add more dates to my old entries page. wee! anyways, back to yesterday. after i left the computer lab, i went to get some more free stuff! earlier in the day, bigwords.com gave me a sticker, magnet, and yellow bouncy ball! and then in the morning i had gotten tix to see "three kings" in the evening....but on my way to my last class of the day, i signed up for two credit cards, just so i could get a day planner. it's actually pretty nice! but i never use these things.......you guys remember how they were really popular in the early 90's? (back when i was in middle school.) then i had music with wilson and it was boring, cuz she went over things like..what to not do during a performance, and some vocab words.. and i knew all this stuffs cuz i used to play violin you know? but wilson was scribbling everything down beside me. *LOL* after that, i went home...only to relax for a few minutes, cuz since we had that movie...and we decided to have dinner out. (been eating out too much, should eat in tonight). so we had teriyaki and i was *stuffed* and then we went home for a lil' break or whatever. and left for the movie at 7pm. there was a line, but it was moving so we got in okay enough. there weren't that many people there..i figure cuz they're all still preoccupied with the first days of school that they don't do the free movie thing. so i'm gonna try to get tix to see "mystery, alaska" tomorrow! hopefully i'll get some...and at least this time around..on tuesdays and thursdays i have class @ 9.30(T) and 8.30(Th)..so i surely can get tix! but this movie.."three kings"..it was not good. they had some funny bits...right now i can't really think of any...but they did. but, it just wasn't enough. lar and i left after 45mins? this is the first movie that i've ever walked out on...a few movies..i left for the restroom..which i try NOT to do, but i did that once..during "seven years in tibet." never have i left a movie......so it was that bad. and i always have problems watching war movies (granted this was a comedy)...... larry suddenly got sick or whatever, so he was making his sick noises in the bed...i got him some medications, which seemed to help..but he did snore all night, so. :P anyways, it's 10am here, i'm getting dressed..maybe annie and i are walking to campus together..i'm having lunch with weese at 11.30..grilled cheezzzzzzzzzz. October 1, 1999well!meeting up with wilson on wednesday for lunch was goo. i had my usual grilled cheez. we saw allan there, but he was meeting someone else. so, :P i messed around til about time for math, where i found jennie easily enough..we sat together. and math sucked. on thursday, i made it to my 8.30am psych class and it was pretty boring. then i hung around til it was time for my cmu class..then later for my math class. i can use that old math book of allan's. but they changed the numbers on it and a few of the problems weren't even in there, so i had to copy everything down. *d'oh* the things i do to save $25!! but i'm not complaining. and on that day..all i wanted to do was meet up with michelle for lunch! but first i filled out more card apps for another free shirt and a free big mug. while i was doing that, i heard my name. it was annie, i invited her to lunch but she said she was already late for classes. i got my free stuffs and met up with michelle. we ate china first....er, first and just talked. then we went to look for stuff to get mike for his bday (her bf) and we talked MO. *L* i bought my psych book, finally. (i'm thinking that since i'm missing all these lectures, i should get the lecture notes, hmm?) then we went our different ways. that morning, i went to pick up free tix to see 'mystery, alaska.' but as i was leaving the apt, i realized that lar still had my ID card! so i went back inside and grabbed this blank ID card i picked up while working at the chem library...i flashed it creatively to the girl behind the counter and she gave me tix! but when it actually came time to leave for the movie, we decided not to go..cuz we read a few reviews and they all said it wasn't good. and it was too soon for another argument like the one we had on tuesday when we left 'three kings' early....which everyone seems to like? *pshaw!* so we just laid around pretty much. i went to bed at an EARLY 9pm! but i'm still pretty tired... ..which is why i missed lecture again. *shrug* i know this is bad, but i can't help it, i guess. *wah* but i called up annie to invite her to lunch with wilson and allan was there, so he came too. i was walking with them and we ran into nelson...who later showed up at lunch. so we get there, meet weese and then get food. then that's when nelson showed up and we did intro's.. and then a band girl came..and then bennetts showed up. man, everyone was there practically. it was nice. so i just went through my first cmu section. it was alright. he talked, gave us an assignment we did some group discussion and he let us out early, so things are good there. i'm in the lab for another hour..then i have math, and then i'm walking home with annie....whom i convinced to come home anyways. (she said she was on monday and we were gonna get Real Good Thai Food, but then i talked to her last night and she had changed her mind..etc) i'm going home tomorrow. so i dunno what we're doing tonight, i think lar and i are due for our taco salads..and some fun. talka mo latta..have goo weekends! :DDD October 5, 1999: my bird died!so i went home with betty and annie on saturday morning. then betty and i went shopping...i bought a COOL glass piggy bank..he has wrinkles on his forehead! i knew i was sold. :DDDD then we went home and annie picked me up to meet jen at top foods.we weren't quite hungry yet, so we walked around the mall. there was an unusually large number of lil' teeny boppers..so i can only assume they were there to see "drive me crazy." jen ran into some stalker guy, so we decided to hide out in the Thai Garden. and i had the best pad thai there! i got 3 peppers (instead of 'stars') out of 4, it was pretty spicy..but definitely way better than the other place. then we went to target..i was just THERE a few hours ago..and i bought a big box of sixlets..then annie dropped jen off...and jen said she'd come by and pick me up at 9.30pm for the partay. in the meanwhile..my sister and i watched 'forces of nature' and it was alright. then i went to check on the birds..and discovered that the blue one was dead! we were pretty sad about it, but i still left with jen when she came..i didn't want to think/deal with/about it now, you know? the party..with the attendees as evergreeners...it was a keggar..my first! i wasn't tooooooooo into it though. but i did walk around with my blue solo cup, taking tiny tiny sips of the beer (which i HATE)..however, i soon abandoned my cup and just sat next to her brother who was pretty quiet while we were there. saw a few people we went to high school with, obviously..the party was this guy's 21st..and he..yeah..same high school, okay? :P and i'm surprised they remembered me..i was pretty..different back then. but i did open my big mouth and said something pretty snippy to someone and i felt bad about it later. *d'awww* we left after a bit and ate at sharis..THERE, jen's brother talka lot. *L* they're funny together. i was dropped off at 2'ish..the rents were STILL not home..and betty was tired of staying up..so she could give em news about the bird... i told her to go to bed and i talked to larry a lil' bit and then went to bed myself. i listened for any sounds of freakin-outedness from the rents when they DID come home, but there wasn't any. they hadn't seen my notes! but i went and told em..and then they told me to go to bed. the next day..we just lazyed around. went shopping again with betty and mom. and didn't really get anything..talked to jen before i left which was nice. she said she'd find her way up here soon. :DDDDDD betty and i went back to seattle at 5.30pm. larry had a good weekend, that day (sunday) he went over to a friend's house for a BBQ and football..i may go with him one of these days. then on monday we both took the day off and it was nice as well. but today you'll find me sitting in the puter lab, waiting out the final break before i have my last class of the day. things are alright though. i'm planning out which days of math to miss...and stuff like that. still sad about my bird though :***********( humph well, this is making me all moody, so i'm gonna finish this update off now. talk later! 
Blueberry 1994-1999 October 6, 1999: i'm, like, sooooooo popular!hey everyone, not much really to say here, but since i was in the lab...yes, another one of those huge breaks, i decided to go in and update!so what's the meaning of that 'popular' comment? well, i have lunch with wilson at 11.30pm, and then i'm meeting michelle at 12.30, and then meeting annie at 2.30pm. now, that's just fine with me..i guess i'll have a drink with wilson, a sandwich with michelle, and dessert with annie. *LOL* but i'm looking forward to it. it gives me a good chance to catch up with ppl. well..i saw wilson in class yesterday. *L* but last i saw michelle was thursday and last i saw annie was on saturday and we didn't talk til last night. so it's about time for a good chat. :) for a brief second this morning i contemplated dropping my 8.30am psych class. you do not know the pain i feel in the mornings! for some reason it feels.. worse from when i'm woken up by lar's getting-ready-for-verk to my alarm. it *HURTS* i think it's the bed, and how i sleep in it. i dunno! but it's PAIN.. it makes an 8.30am class all the more dreadful to attend...but i did go! amelia (who i went to HS with and had symphony) 'found' me. i had seen her around since the quarter began, but she always sat far ahead of me and i wasn't about to yell her name, you know? but we sat together. she seemed tired like i was. lecture was alright. it seems like a lot of review to me..cuz we're talking about prenatal care... and speaking of..for this whole week, there is some "display" going on in the main areas of campus (ie: red square and the HUB lawn). it's people with these huge pictures of abortion and things...along that..i'm not going into it any further as i think you know what i'm talking about. but do you KNOW how disturbing it is to be confronted by these images during the day? it's horrible! after reading the paper, i realized that if you went to my school's website, you'd see some of the "display"...currently at red square (tomorrow it's going back to the HUB lawn)... oh, whatever.... so i haven't decided if i'm gonna miss math lecture today. i think i will.. though there is a quiz tomorrow in section. i don't really care right now. and i don't really know quite yet..so we'll just wait and see what i decide to do. man, i want some pad thai! *LOL* October 11, 1999well, my weekend was pretty good and relaxing. :)but before that, the rest of last week. as for being 'sooo popular,' i met up with weese as planned and after he left michelle came. *L* i was saving my stomach for when i caught up with annie so we could have some pad thai. (<--i have this constant craving for it nowadays.) so i didn't eat with wilson or michelle. but michelle took me to her dorm and it was nice seeing a few things she still has/uses/keeps from when we were in the dorm together. we talked for a lil' bit and then went to pick wilson up. after that we went to his room since she hasn't seen it yet and then left to meet up with annie... ...who wasn't there! afterwards, she said she waited a whole five minutes and then left. *ha!* :P so then the three of us went to petco and wilson got a fish tank, and i was contemplation betas..and then they dropped me at home. the next day was friday, another lunch day with wilson..but i had annie and allan come..and i invited michelle...and when we got there, i invited moani..and after we'd been there a while nelson showed up. so it was nice to have everyone eat together. hell, everyone there was prolly the only friends i have at this schoo! *G* but oh, yeah..jen came up thursday night and stayed over at weese's. i feel bad about it cuz we weren't being too fun that night. i know lar and i were being moody..annie was at the tori amos concert, and nelson and allan prolly had some kind of band. in the morning, she had to get up early to park in larry's spot..luckily darryl checked with me before calling the tow truck. *LOL* and it was raining HARD friday morning..as jen was walking the LONG WAY from weese's back here. *d'aww!* she gave me and annie a ride to schoo for lunch... okay it's time for the weekend now. well, friday night..larry and did nothing at all, which was fine. we were SUPPOSED to stay up all night but we ended up falling asleep at TEN..with tv, lights, computer on. :P we slept til early saturday morning. and lazyed around til about 7pm at night. we left for downtown, went to old navy and bought stuffs! i shop better at this old navy for some reason. i got a shirt and a metal mug..and a velcro wallet for larry. he bought some pants and a shirt. but the main GOAL of the night was to see: 'american beauty.' we wandered around in pacific place (where the movie was playing) and i ran into moani and people..they saw me milling around brookstone. *L* larry was sitting in his chair getting his feet massaged. *LOL* they were also seeing this movie aand urged us to purchase our tickets soon. so we went and stood in the big line and when it was my turn, she wouldn't let me purchase two tickets with my student card (students get a discount), so fine, i got the other for full price. :P~!!! larry and i then went into victoria's secret and he bought me underwear and then we just talked til it was about time to go inside, where we saw moani again. :) we hadn't had our dinner yet so i decided to buy a popcorn with LOTS of butter and a big drink for larry. man..that popcorn was good. *L* yeah, i know, not good for you but it tasted so good. :P and this movie was gReat! very sad, disturbing, but excellent! everyone should see this movie! *G* i think larry said we'd see it again..so i cana't wait. :) after the movie we paid for parking, which came out to be $4 instead of the usual $2..cuz i guess we DID stay there for 4hrs, usually it's just a couple. *shrug* we got home and ordered pizza..ah, more grease! *LOL* and then went to bed at 2. on sunday, he watched football while i went out with annie and wilson. we were SUPPOSED to get pad thai at thai tom, but they were closed on sunday! *CRY* so then we went to northgate to red robin and ordered crap food. :P i bought a kids burger that had vampire fangs in it...i just wanted the teeth. then we went to her apartment and then to the guys'..and sat there til nelson's family came up and wilson gave them his parking spot and took me home. lar and i didn't do much on sunday so that was nice... as for today, yes, i went to my 8.30 class and sat by amelia and afterwards, i bought the lecture notes for the class cuz we have an exam on monday. then i went home. i already plan on skipping math...i think i'll go to one lecture a week..just to check-in on things. *shrug* nothing much for today besides that, i have math homework due, tons of reading which i haven't even started yet. but soon! October 14, 1999well, so far this week at school has been uneventful. i manage to miss a class at least everyday, but i hope to change that with today. :P~i have exams on monday and tuesday and i just started reading for them last night. this is good for me, considering i usually start reading the day before. Ha! i thought i was going home this weekend with wilson and annie, who had some crazy plan to go to thai garden and then down to portland, oregon for the columbia outlet. somehow i knew that wilson would have some RA-activity to attend to, and yesterday he told me he did! i can go home next weekend.. just want to make sure the rents are 'okay'..after the blue bird died and stuffs. i talked to my sister and she told me what they've been doing..to make the other feel better. *L* it's funny though...my dad comes home from work first, gets the bird, and together they pick up mom from her work. *LOL* and in the morning my mom gets up early to play with the bird before she leaves. what a spoiled bird. i think they are getting a new bird but are waiting for the hand-fed babies....that'll be interesting to have a new bird around. :) and i must say again..that everyone needs to go and see american beauty...it's THAT good. *heh* nothing much planned for today, i'm in the lab for an hour and then i have my cmu class..after that i'll pick up my lecture notes for my psych class..and read a lil' for my math quiz...which i got 100% on from last week. *bwuaha* talk latta! October 17, 1999hey all,the weekend's been pretty good, well, up to this current moment. *haw* friday: so i skipped pysch again..but it was just asking me to! a film? on a friday? helloooo! but i was actually doing errands during that time. :) i went to the post office to mail off some packages which had been sitting around forever...and i bought new lip balm cuz the other one died in the drier. then i met up with everyone for lunch and that was nice.. i ran into a really OLD friend and that weirded me out cuz she's definitely from my PAST and i don't want to go back there, you know? and in the brief convo i had with her..i already know how things would be if i started talking to her again. class was fine--it was review for my cmu exam on tuesday. *GAK* afterwards, i met up with michelle, who was talking with brian and allan...then we went to her dorm and i helped her get her things. which was nice, it's definitely cool that we're trying to spend mroe time together before she goes away to schoo. and that day she also got her letter into the norweiga schoo, which was exciting stuffs. mike came by and took me home, which was nice..then i waited for larry to get home. he didn't get home until 6pm (which is two hours later than usual)..and he was pretty tired. but we shoved ourselves out the door to go get me food and to do this..recording session thing with this street musician we've seen a few times before. (i'm sure i've talked about him...he plays the accordian and sang 'livin the vida loca' during bumbershoot. *L*) i ordered some teriyaki but it was nasty cuz 1) they messed up my order, i asked for sauce on the SIDE and 2) the rice was CRUNCHY disgusting! *Barf* so larry got me another plate..but its portions were smaller..prolly cuz they had to redo mine. *snort* but whatever. that rice was disgusting! and he said that he could tell they KNEW they fucked up my order..so whaie..did they even bother trying to pass it off as something edible?!??!?! gross! anyways... we went to the place..and it was sad cuz there was only another couple there...and the guy had planned on getting backup vocals for his next CD...but luckily more and more people showed up and in the end, there were prolly 20 people there, which was gReat. we mostly sang nonsense. *L* i was paranoid about singing anyways, but it was really easy and the people were nice and coo..and we did that arms-over-shoulders thing and swaying. *LOL* we sang things like: "ya-di, ya-da...ya-di, ya-da...ya-di..ya-da-da..," "igga di, igga di, igga digga dup!," and "the enola's going crazy! the enola's going crazy!" *LKSMDF:LKWMEFOSIRW* it was a whole lot of crazy crazy fun. he performed some songs for us as well..one about beets. and during it, he took one out of his case and started eating it! *L* afterwards, we passed it around and people took bites from it..i passed of course. :P and after THAT, we just tossed the beet around the room until someone got WHIPPED by it. *LOL* anyways, we did that for a while and then helped him load up his equipment and then went out to eat with him. and i knew that i would end up NOT talking at all..and that's what happened. :P we prolly should have just gone home like everyone else did..but we didn't. :P it was still a good time though. saturday: lar left in the morning to get his voter card and i laid around. i did do some reading though..i only have one more chapter to go and then i'll spend the rest of the time making my notes. we laid around and when we finally left the apt, it was to eat at the new denny's diner..and that SUCKED. how can you mess up cheese fries? they did, but the only saving grace was the 1000 island dressing. *haw!* we got home and there was a message from moani telling me what her address is cuz they're having a party. so we leave for THAT, but she didn't really give directions, only the address, so we were pretty lost. kinna. lar didn't like driving on these streets cuz cars were parked on both sides..so we just gave up and went home.. which annoyed me but i guess there wasn't anything else to do. *snort* and i was venting all this to ellen, but then i had to go and friggin disconnect, so i lost the email..so now i'm mad all over again. RAR!!!!!!!! so that's why i'm typing up this update.... errrrrr. nothing for tomorrow. larry's going to some football thing at a friend's house..i'm studying for my exams..and basically being a retard. :P nite. <<<< ^ >>>> |
