October 18, 1999: i don't give into peer pressure
how precious is today!
lemme tell you! first off...i had a psych exam @ 8.30am! but i
wasn't tired or anything, i woke up with larry and that gave my
body enough time to wake itself up, etc. so i did some reading,
but spent more time doing dishes and making breakfast..*heh*
i left for class early so that i could catch the elevator and
so that i wouldn't be all flustered before the exam..by taking
the stairs that is.
i picked up the paper
and found out that they had passes to see 'being john malcovich' tonight!!!
but before i was able to get excited about it, i realized that..
once again, lar did not give me my ID bawk..after using it to do
stuffs on saturday. *WHAIE!*
so whatever, i had to concentrate on this exam! i told myself that
i'd think of something once it's over...
and this exam sucked..cuz 1) i didn't study everything i was supposed
to!! i was talking to this girl next to me and found out that..
what i thought we didn't need to know..we needed to KNOW!!! i
SWEAR my TA told us on tuesday that we didn't need to know the bottom
stuffs on the review sheet....
but since THIS happened, maybe what she meant was..that if we
didn't already know what this shit was...don't worry about it..cuz
we're learning about this shit NOW. *slaps forehead*
god..it was horrible! but i wrote something in all the blanks.
*WHAIE!!!*
so then it wasa 5mins til class was over. i saw a [fat] girl from
my section leaving..so i decided to leave too..and ask her if i
could use her ID card for the tix!
i started small talka with her and she was already trying to
scuttle off or something. *shrug* but then i asked her..and i was
really nice and cool about it and everything. and she said NO,
which is just fine, you know? but then she had to go and say...
"i don't want to do this because then i'd be giving into
peer pressure."
that got me so ANNOYED! what the hell? am i some drug dealer?
cuz, listen, i was in DARE too, b*tch! well, whatever, i remained
calm and stuffs and thanked her anyways and went in another direction.
she sucksssssssss.
i went to the HUB anyways, to see if i could get someone else..or
to try to talk them into giving me tix even though i didn't have
my ID card..but all i saw was: sorry, no more tickets.

all that for nothing, i didn't even have to talk to that [expletive
expletive expletive expletive] (hmm..i think that's the right
word. *L*)!!!!! but whatever, i bought some scan trons, picked up
lecture notes...
and the girl there was in my class too..and she also said that it
"wasn't too bad." haw! pretty damn bad if you didn't study everything!!!!
so i'm home now. i'm just messing around to unwind and then i'll
get back to business. i have to study for cmu and finish my math
homework. i'll prolly skip my psych section (like hell do i want to
see that stupid [expletive!] now.) and go straight to cmu tomorrow..
and then math..and go home..oh wait, i have music with wilson..
okay i'm staying for that then. :P
more of the same stuff for tonight. tomorrow is annie's birthday..
tonight larry's going to a listening session for that musician
guy we sang with on friday..and that's about it, i guess.
October 25, 1999: too beezay
hey everyone, i know it's been a while since i last updated..somehow things
just keep moving and i can't stop. :P
but lessee...
last tuesday was annie's birthday. wilson, michelle, and i bought her a cake
and surprised her at work. i helped finish up this awful copy job she had..
doubld-sided copies! it's a guarantee that you'd get paper jams. :P but we
couldn't really celebrate because she was at work and i had to get back by
8pm so i could watch my shows. *chuckle*
the following day, however, we continued the birthday celebration by having
lunch out and then going back to her place for cake. then nelson took me
back to school instead of home. :P that boy...
thursday i checked my score for the cmu test from tuesday. i did pretty good!
but after school, i got a letter saying that i needed to have a major NOWWW,
so that worried me. :P~ larry, michelle, and i went to see a free showing of
"bats!" at the HUB. it was terrible! but we laughed the whole time cuz it was
soooooo lame. i can't believe someone just thought, "hey, let's make a movie
about...hmmm....bats!"
friday i went to see an advisor..who mapped out my plans for the rest of
school. and surprise, surprise..she said i could get out in time! meaning,
get out after four years. that was sooooo surprising, i swear i would be
here forever. :P but she gave me some good advice..after i told her my
plans..she said that i was in a good position and that i prolly wouldn't
get a hold put on my classes during spring quarter. yeeeouch!
i met up with everyone for lunch and talked with em for a while. wilson had a
prospective student with him and he seemed alright. he wasn't scared off by
what we were saying. *LOL*
i went home on friday. my dad picked me up and we went to get the car from
betty's place. traffic make us drive TWICE as long home. yuk! i just wanted to
get home by 8pm so i could surprise jen at work..which i did. :D we had
goo talka and made plans to meet up the next morning.
overslept that next morning though..*L* but i got there on time. we went to
the mall..and looked around. and value village..and ate at burrito heaven.
every place makes their burritos so differently. :P and then we got back
early (she worked at 3pm that day) because she volunteered to be in the dunk
tank from 1-2pm! she was only dunked 3 times though..the rest of the hour was
spend doing laps. *LOL*
later that day i went over to the 3 girs' house cuz their rents were having
a party..and we talked and it was coo..i left at 9, so that i could talk to
larry and work on my cmu paper. the rest of my weekend home wasn't anything
wonderful...i had a less-than-satisfying shopping trip on sunday with my
mom. but luckily there was no traffic coming up!
lar got our tickets to see "being john malkovich" for thursday, i'm excited!
we went out for dinner (even though we FINALLY have food in the house) and
then bought pumpkins! he carved his last night and i'm still thinking about
mine..i want it to be AWESOME.
but this week is gonna be so busy for me! i can hardly wait. *L* nevermind
that tomorrow i'll be so busy with my cmu paper, math homework and midterm...
it's another day nearer to halloween! and for the first time in forever, i
actually have plans and parties to attend. granted, 3 of the 4 parties
were invitations scored by lar..*LOL* who cares!
tuesday jennifer is also coming up so we can go see "american beauty" again.
weee! and then wednesday larry has his guitar class for 3 hours..and
thursday is the free movie..and friday night is the weekend! we need to get
his costume though. and i need to finish mine!
i'm actually working in the computer lab today. i have a good part of my paper
done. i'm on page 3 of 5-6pgs and i'm not 'discussing,' 'analyizing,' or
'concluding' yet. hee hee! and i have to go to my math lecture because it's
'review' for this retarded math midterm. i still have about 3 or 4 problems
left on homework to do. i found out that *I* can actually do my own homework..
cuz when i was home, i worked on math for an hour and zoomed through it.
but up here i have distractions like larry and tv and phone...and i like
having him do my homework for me. *heh*
after math is back home to finish more of my paper and then do math stuff.
then weese and i have our first concert to go to...i think i may end up falling
asleep (i did that all during psych this morning..d'oh!). larry and michelle
are going to see 'american movie' tonight and meet the film directors...and
that's a busy monday for ya! but i'm doing alright. i'm thinking of actually
be good from now on and attending as many classes as possible! we'll see how
long i actually go though. *heh* talk later!
November 3, 1999: hmmmm..
so it's been a while. i dunno. last week turned out to
be busier than i thought. :P
lessee...
so i was able to finish my cmu paper the morning it
was due, which is tuesday. i didn't work on it
further after the last update because i had to do
math homework and it was also the first concert of
weese and my class: music 185. *wooooooo*
it was alright. it was a violinist and his wife, the
viola player. they already spoke to our class the
2nd week, so we knew what they were doing. i'm not
inspired yet to play my violin again, though.
then came tuesday. i skipped psych section again because
i was tacking on a conclusion to my paper. it was also
the day of my first math midterm. and it was more difficult
than i thought it would be. because this math..i've
already taken..i was speeding through it..and there
just was barely enough time to finish. i talked to
jennie afterwards and she said she didn't
finish. ouch.
jen was too busy to come up though. *pout*
i think i went to psych on wednesday, oh yes, i did.
i was pretty good the beginning of last week. :P
and then i'm sure i skipped out on math again. i
just went home, i guess. then weese informed me we
had ANOTHER concert to go to..so lar and i left
together, him to his guitar class and me to meany
hall. and it was pretty goo. the concert was with
an opera singer....and i don't GET opera. i guess
part of it had to do with lack of interest on my
part, but eh. just not interested. but she was
amazing.
on thursday out of pure laziness, i skipped psych. it
had to happen you know. :P but i went to cmu like
always. it's the only class i haven't skipped a DAY
in! *claps* i talked over some last details with
moani regarding her halloween party. things were getting
exciting for me.
we got our math midterms back, too. i missed four,
but was able to contest two for some partial credit.
i made some stupid errors. but i definitely was at the
top of the curve in this one. bah! afterwards, i waited
for annie and we went to her apartment for talka.
friday was the big day. it was the rallAY. i skipped
psych once again, but i was beginning to feel a scratch
in the back of my throat. ;) i walked with annie to
meet everyone for lunch. cmu section wasn't all that
great, we were supposed to watch a video, but it didn't
work. so we just talked about what we were gonna watch.
and get this: i actually participated...twice!
i skipped math to meet up with michelle. she said that
mike was actually hanging around HERE, instead of whisking
her away. so we were both excited about having a friday
together. when he arrived, we went to ballard..and
bought some sea food, which was GOO. and then ate at the
ballard locks where seagulls and crows were attacking us.
:P then we went back to her dorm to wait for larry to
come home from work.
he got his residency! (hmm..when i say that it sounds
like he's a doctor or something..) so yay! he's going
to schoo with me next quarter! it's definitely something
to celebrate. :DDDD we met him in red square to wait
for the free stuffs. *EG*
first, we got our free shirts. the front looked good.
it said: husky homecoming 1999..or something like that.
but then the back has a HUGE logo of wing dome..one
of their sponsors. :P~ then we got in line for papa
john's pizza....twice. and it was gooooood!
meesh and i grabbed free wing dome cups.
we watched the wing dome chicken get picked up and
carried off by four freshman boys and dumped in the
garbage can. it was hilarious..but i felt bad for the
chicken. awwww..it's just a CHICKEN!!! *heh*
the rally began..and the band came in. and i saw allan
but i think he was too busy to see me. *ha* the
rally itself was boring. it was hosted by STAR 101.5,
when last year KISS 106.1 hosted....STAR only played
that damn mambo song! GRRRRRR! they mostly gave out
prizes for random things..and we saw some skits and
then the best part came last...
a wing eating contest! larry said in the beginning
that he was gonna do that. and i was doing that, "yeah,
right you are" kinna thing, kay? but when they announce
it..he runs up there! i just about died. *LOL* another
guy (band conductor or something) and two other girls
were there.
and they're off! i couldn't tell how larry was doing
because i was too busy screaming things at him..and
laughing..and hiding behind mike. *LKMDS:FLKMWERW* it
was too much crazy fun. but you know..he WON. he WON.
i just about burst.
everyone got the same stuffs: cranium game, cranium
cap, old navy shirt...but HE got an autographed football
with the coach and 3 starting players. it was pretty
coo. and that put a GREAT close to a pretty fun day.
i can see the four of us having a fun double date.
*does girly giggle* but that will have to wait for
another time. but yeah..we had so much fun. afterwards,
we visited wilson because he was one duty ALL WEEKEND.
he wasn't doing much..but we left when he started his
rounds. *awww*
i drew on his whiteboard a "happy halloween" with
a lil' pumpkin..and he said he kept it there all weekend
and people said it was cute. yay!
lar and i just went home. we were gonna rent movies
but we were pretty tired and did some other things. :)
on saturday, we needed to get stuffs for our costumes.
he was gonna be a bob dylan character and i was looking
for yellow pants for my pikachu costume or else butterfly
wing-making-material. and a dish to share for the party.
well, we couldn't find the yellow anything so i bought
posterboard and some glitter for wings. and we bought
a pumpkin pie. came home..made the wings..he fell asleep..i
fell asleep..we woke up at 7...left at 9 for this
party. i prolly shoulda just stayed home though..and
finished watching "Disturbing behavior." haw.
anyways...it was a bad start cuz it was raining pretty
hard. and then it took an hour to get there and we
were driving all over the boonies and shit. :P~ we get
there and i see this dark..big house on a hill..and i'm
like..okay let's have some fun!
we get in there..and it's quiet..er...yeah. it's about
15 people split upstairs and downstairs..and it's pretty
bad...lame. i was NOT feeling right here. but i stayed
and larry got to talk to some people..he thinks the guy
hosting the party is 'really cool' and he definitely was..
but this party really was not cool. we stayed there for the
longest two hours in the world and set off in the pouring
rain towards home.
stopped off at AM/PM for better directions to I5..and i
noticed..that things didn't quite look right..so i
turned around..and saw a car ON FIRE behind us. and then
i just saw larry in the mix: he was talking to 911, he
was out there with the guy and the extinguisher...he
was just THERE. we did leave though..while they waited
for 911. unreal.
as we're nearing home..i'm nearing a peak of preciousness,
pissiness, moodiness, and annoyance..so i said that i
wanted to go home. i felt bad about not going to moani's
party..since i didn't go to the last one...but i really
did NOT want to be around any people for the rest of the
night. so we just went home. it was just after midnight..it was
a lame halloween for me. :PPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
sunday was about football..so that just increased those
feelings i had last night...which i didn't let go of
yet..so i exploded and it wasn't a pretty sight.
because of that (exploding) i was exhausted on monday and
skipped the whole day. but i was busy and defrosted the
freezer..and did laundry..and i left the apartment
before 4pm so i could order pad thai during lunch prices.
*heh* it's pretty good.
on tuesday i went to my classes..i handed in my fake
psych work...i handed in my math homework..which i
did haphazardly(?) and then hung out with wilson before
our music class. but oh yeah..he calculated the partial
credit on the midterms and i ended up with 80/100.
*shrug* it's alright. i can do buckets better though.
wilson and i had lunch at burgermaster. i know i said
that i was no longer gonna eat hamburgers..because of
canada...but i did. is it my fault that hamburgers are
so much more cheaper than chicken/turkey things?! haw!
but it was pretty good..it was a really ghetto place
though. ;)
music class was pointless. i didn't learn a damn thing.
the guest lecturer was a frenchman...who was snobby..
and had an accent..and i was just not interested. so i
organized my papers in my notebook. *heh* after class
we went back to wilson's room..and waited there til
about 5, so i could go see annie at work.
well, he made me wait until about 5.30 though because he
thought he saw a thing about a news story regarding
license plates. (i'll tell you now i'm glad that I695 thing
is over..sucks that it passed though..*shrugs*) then i
only had TWENTY minutes to spend with her since i had to
go cmu extra credit with moani @ 6pm. grr weese!
*L* he said he didn't know about it. but then i told him
about it and he remembered. pah. he's so silly sometimes.
but yeah..we got there and talked briefly and then i
left. *pout* the extra credit was a long ass survey..
but hey..i got some points! moani gave me a ride home..
and i was retarded cuz i thanked her a zillion times..
i guess i'm just that lazy. ;P
i watched buffy..which was alright. that angel show
isn't doing anything for me so i don't think i'll be
watching that regularly. i helped lar look at tix..
cuz HELLO..thanksgiving is in a couple weeks!!!
xmas is around the corner!
when i was visiting annie i said that i was gonna go
to her first class with her..but that means missing lunch
with wilson. so i called him..and she was there!
apparently he stayed with her until she got off work..
they were going to the spaghetti factory..got there,
she changed her mind..and she was studying there. well,
shit, i'm glad they decided not to go because i would have
kicked some ass over it! i think we made plans to go
there tomorrow????
so now it's wednesday, i dragged ass to psych and it was
boring. i'm totally not interested any more and it
doesn't help that it's an 8.30 class. haw. but now i'm
in the lab for just a few more minutes until it's time
for annie's class..then i'm coming BACK to the lab for
an hour..and then going to math..i think i should know
what we're doing if we're having a quiz tomorrow. bah.
was this a long enough update for everyone? *heh*
plans for the weekend: going home on saturday with annie
and nelson and a few others(?) and meeting up with some
old acquaintances/friends. i'm excited about it for
some reason. talk soon.

go to..without banners? (excluding buying my own

November 10, 1999: well well
i figured i should try to update more often since i have
MORE TIME IN THE DAY!! on monday i dropped my psych
class, cuz i wasn't into it at all and i hadn't gone
for nearly a week because of my cold...and this morning
was the midterm. :P so what that means is...on mondays
and wednesdays i start @ 1.30pm, tuesdays and thursdays
@ 10.30pm, and fridays @ 11.30pm. i'm a rock star.
i'm still sick, it's mostly a cough. i don't think i'll
shake it off for a while though. :(
as for the weekend...well, i got home late because of
one thing or another. :P we left at noon, but didn't
get home until nearly 3! cuz see, we had to take
nelson to nordstrom's because he wanted his shoes
repaired. and lucky for US, there was so much traffic
going into tacoma! *grrr* it was a bitch to find
parking and what was more upsetting were a few cars
parked in MULTIPLE spots!!! one was in THREE spots..
can you believe that?!!??!
so after we found our spot..(singular, mind you)..we
left notes on those cars we passed in all those spots.
*L* i wrote one filled with four-letter words and
annie wrote a two-page letter. *uh huh*
the shoes were dropped off and we wandered around.
and i guess that's where all the time went.
i prolly shouldn't have gone home this weekend since i
had so much work to do for the beginning of the week.
but oh well! i got home..and then left to shop with
my sister and mom right away. *d'awww* and we were gone
for a few hours. *heh*
i didn't really get anything clothes-wise but i had a
few things otherwise, so it was okay. betty bought me
a starbucks...apple cider caramelly drink..which was
just too sweet for me.
i got home and then left for annie's. we went to
QFC so she could buy her gramma a card and flowers
(since her birthday was the day before) and i was
digging in the discount halloween cart. annie laughed
at me, but i came up with: goldfish witch!
it's the goldfish of those goldfish crackers, with
a witch hat. it's cute! i got it for TWO DOLLA! so i
was pretty happy. :DDDD
we were at her grandparents for a long time. had some
really good cheezcake though! i've never had cheezcake
like that before, it was so light. thank goodness, too...
annie and i were both pretty full, and her gramma cuts
us these HUGE pieces..since she had to FEEL for it..
cuz she can't really see that well.....but it was good.
and we were there talking to them for a long time. *L*
we talked about having rice for breakfast. ;P
went back to her house to study, but she fell asleep
behind me. so i went home around 11pm...and watched a
lil' tv..and went to bed.
on sunday i decided to go up with my family instead of
annie since she was leaving before noon. *gasp*
we got a few last minute things done and left @ 4.30.
and since i was back, of course i didn't study any more
and just spent time with lar. :P~
monday i dropped my class....i went to math though,
and it was okay. getting pretty close to the end here.
had lunch with annie, nelson, and wilson afterwards and
went back to her apartment for a while..that was pretty
nice....

"cendrillon" (cinderella in french). and it was so
damn long! we had to get tix an hour before the show..
which was a DRESS REHEARSAL...it went off w/o a
hitch though..but took forever!! the singing was pretty
good..but i just didn't care..i had to finish math
homework and study for my cmu midterm..
after about 3 hours, we finally got home. and i scrambled
to do as much math as i could..and it was annoying me
cuz i wasn't getting the right answers. *grrrr!* then
i did some quick reading for cmu..gave up on that too..
then went to bed. :P
i woke up early on tuesday to do more reading for cmu.
the test was okay. the first page went by FAST. i was
a bit stalled by the True/False...afterwards, moani
and i picked up our papers..and i SUCK: 65/90 which is
like a 78% and all that but that's unacceptable!!! i
need to do better cuz right now i'm doing mediocre.
:P
i had an hour before math section so i finished another
part of my homework but i still had two problems left to
do. we got quizzes back and this was my lowest score
so far..not too bad-low..but still the lowest..i was
just rocking today. *smirk* i left early because i realyl
wanted to bake cookys though...
i only baked half a batch cuz we never seem to finish
a whole one. and i made myself a DRINK and had that..and
some lunch and i was feeling pretty good. the cookys
came out very well. by the time lar came home though,
i was sleeping with a headache. :P
we're gonna look at some guy's bed that night, but i
was just not up to it and lar was tired and hungry, so
we're doing it on thursday. so yeah..we're getting a bed.
i hope it's nice..maybe later we can get a cool frame
from IKEA.
i watched my shows..just buffy which was pretty good..
i watched the beginning of party of five..just to see
what everyone was up to/what they looked like. then at
9.30 i watched the 2nd to last episode of real world..
and then the final epi was on @ 10..i missed the last
few minutes though. d'aw!
so now it's wednesday. i was compelled to update since i
checked my stats and saw that a few people check my page
pretty often.....so here's an update!
nothing much else for now. i have math in two hours..
meeting up with annie..i'm gonna give amelia my psych
lecture notes (damn things cost me $17/quarter!!!). and
then do something else. i think we're 'partying' tonight,
but after my solo one yesterday i think i'll just sit
back and have a diet coke. :)
